The young girl CC furrowed her brow, looking at the middle-aged man with messy long hair and a beard covering half his face.
She knew, of course, that this name was fake.
But...
Considering that the man before her seemed to have lost his memory, it was natural that he wouldn't remember his real name, so taking a false name was understandable.
"Alright, VV."
CC accepted this setting and spread her hands:
"But you still haven't answered my question. How did you suddenly appear here? I just passed by here a moment ago, and there was absolutely no one."
"From underground."
The man pointed to the ground, kicked aside the messy layer of fallen leaves, and showed CC the silver-shining makeshift elevator:
"There's an underground space here, old, broken, and ancient. I climbed up from that underground space. Do you want to take a look inside?"
CC shook her head:
"No, no, of course not."
She wouldn't go to such a dangerous place for no reason.
