Xia Guangxue returned home with a thermos bottle; his wife had gone to work, and Xia Yining yawned as she walked out of her room.
"Dad, what are you doing with a thermos bottle so early in the morning?" Xia Yining suspiciously glanced at the item in her father's hand.
"It's soup for your cousin," Xia Guangxue placed the thermos down and sat on a chair.
Nearby, Xia Yining was taken aback upon hearing his answer.
Then she let out a scoff, "Mom made it and asked you to deliver it? This affection feels warmer than for her daughter who just had a miscarriage."
Her voice was thick with jealousy.
