The gaze seemed to not recognize Xia Yueqing at all, staring directly with a strong sense of shock.
Xia Yueqing was baffled by the stare. Was there something dirty on her face?
She touched her face but found nothing, and then closed the wardrobe door and walked out. "What's going on? Why are you looking at me like that?"
She said this while walking toward Xia Yining.
Xia Yining had her mouth open, her lips trembling, her eyes still filled with undiminished shock as if she were a puppet, completely unresponsive.
A leather-bound notebook lay quietly on the ground.
Xia Yueqing grew more suspicious as she looked, bending down to pick up the notebook.
Could it be a diary written by her aunt?
Xia Yueqing hesitated about whether to open it when Xia Yining's voice, stiff to the extreme, sounded in her ear. "You are Mom's biological daughter..."
The moment she said this, Xia Yueqing's brows furrowed sharply, her face expressionless. "What nonsense are you talking about?"
