Xia Yining didn't think much of it; she agreed readily, considering the lipstick. "Sure, where are we going?"
Soon, she found out.
Xia Yueqing directly pulled her out of the mall, and as they walked, she kept looking around.
She didn't see anyone following her.
Outside the mall, she hailed a taxi and got in with Xia Yining.
"We still need to take a taxi? Where on earth are we going?" Xia Yining asked, bewildered. She thought they were just going for a meal.
A few minutes later, the car stopped in front of a hospital.
Xia Yueqing paid the fare, and only then did the belated Xia Yining seem to realize what was happening.
For some reason, she felt uneasy, cautiously asking, "Why are you here? For a prenatal checkup?"
Xia Yueqing raised her head, looking at the hospital's gate, feeling a chill all over.
"Let's get inside first and talk."
She led the way inside and registered herself.
However, it wasn't a prenatal checkup she was scheduling; it was... an abortion.
