Lu Heyan's face turned pale from Weilan's sarcasm. He looked at Weilan with a complex expression and said, "For the sake of old times, show some mercy."

Weilan also felt a catch in her heart upon hearing this, finding it somewhat laughable.
"You and I have no bygone affections left. They were exhausted after repeated injuries. Now, I owe you nothing."
Hearing Weilan say this, a hint of sadness welled up in Lu Heyan's eyes.
"Today, let my uncle go, and I promise to write off everything." He said again.
"You write it off?" Weilan laughed with utmost sarcasm, "Your mother's issues were excessively extreme, and so is your uncle's. You lack a basic sense of right and wrong, and you talk to us about writing it off? Don't you find it ridiculous? Lu Heyan, shut up. You have no right to negotiate terms with us now."
