"What's the matter?" Weilan asked.
"It's nothing major, really. Just wanted to tell you that Qin Mofeng is back." Chen Jingbo said over the phone.
Weilan felt that Chen Jingbo's call was very peculiar. Qin Mofeng returning is one thing, but for Chen Jingbo to call her about it, there must be something odd going on.
"If you have something to say, just say it directly."
Chen Jingbo chuckled: "The way you're talking, it seems you're not scared at all."
"Does being scared help?" Weilan also chuckled. "You're not calling to amuse me, so just get to the point."
"Qin Mofeng went to the Capital City right after returning from London. He approached an old subordinate of his grandfather, seeking a new opportunity to overturn his father's case."
Weilan was startled; this was indeed a significant matter.
However, she couldn't discern the outcome from Chen Jingbo's tone.
