"It's you?" Ou Jingfeng was taken aback. He hadn't expected to run into Chen Jingbo here, still in his afternoon attire, his figure appearing taller and more upright in the dusk shadows.
Chen Jingbo glanced at Ou Jingfeng, then at the house inside, frowned, and said, "You're the one who just moved in?"
"Yes," Ou Jingfeng nodded. "I just moved in."
"This is for you." Chen Jingbo handed the bag to her.
"For me?" Ou Jingfeng was once again stunned. "What is it?"
"Your landlord gave this to you." Chen Jingbo passed the bag over with a slightly impatient expression.
"You know my landlord?" Ou Jingfeng asked.
Chen Jingbo didn't say anything.
It was only then that Ou Jingfeng realized that if he didn't know the landlord, why would he be here? This was military territory, so it made sense for him to know.
But for him to be delivering things, wasn't he a powerful officer?
Why would he be doing errands?
