As soon as Weilan gained her freedom, she quickly moved to the other side of the dining table and sat down.
Lu Hechen watched her flee as if escaping and curled his lips with satisfaction.
They sat down to dine together.
Almost finished eating, Song Di called.
"Hechen, Shen Lu's case is going to court the day after tomorrow."
"The day after tomorrow?" Lu Hechen was stunned. "Great, finally going to court."
"Yeah, it's something worth celebrating. No matter what, it's going to court," Song Di said over the phone.
"What about Qin Meifen?"
"That's still under review, no date set yet."
Lu Hechen knew it wouldn't be so quick to go to court anyway; after all, the case was too special.
"But Lu Heyan's case might go to court earlier for you. Expected to be in about a week."
"Okay, thank you for your hard work, Di!" Lu Hechen's tone was low and carried a touch of warmth, filled with gratitude.
