Lu Hechen hung up the phone and turned around to see Weilan standing at the study's door, looking at him with a gentle and lingering gaze.
Hechen was startled and walked over. "It's getting cold, don't walk barefoot on the floor."
She wasn't wearing shoes, walking barefoot, her fair feet landing adorably on the floor.
He walked over and wanted to pick up Weilan and carry her back to the bedroom. As he bent down, he couldn't muster the strength and immediately felt frustrated.
