He didn't give Weilan any chance, just sealed her lips directly, forcibly entering Weilan's mouth, their lips and teeth clashing.
It was as if her breath was completely taken away.
Weilan softened in his embrace.
Lu Hechen hugged her tightly to him, letting her feel his emotions.
Weilan sensed his change and whispered, "Alright. Stop messing around, I'm weak."
Lu Hechen chuckled and released Weilan, then said, "Don't worry, we haven't eaten yet, I won't do anything to you."
"Exactly, Aunt Fu is still upset, let's take it easy for a bit."
So, the two of them sat down to have breakfast together.
Halfway through, Weilan remembered and said, "Oh, Aunt Fu hasn't eaten, right?"
"No, she hasn't," Lu Hechen said. "I told her in the morning, she's been busy all morning, crying now, she won't want to eat. She'll come out to eat later, once she relaxes, she'll know to take care of herself, and she wants to recognize your brother too."
