Chapter 731 - 30

Part 26.

The Rookery. Ottery St Catchpole.

After making up my mind about having Winterhold become a new feature of this world, the Celestial Reliquary soon provided me with a book called: A Guide to Winterhold.

This text told me all about the new town's history in this world, which had been woven into the tapestry that was the Wizarding World. I found this to be rather impressive as even introducing new magical races to this setting seemed to have been done very successfully.

By adding to this world the college and the town which shared a name, I'd introduced whole new races, the dark elves, wood elves, high elves, and orcs along with the khajiit. The world hadn't been altered to consider the different races of men in the Elder Scrolls world, such as the Nords, Imperials and Bretons, but that wasn't required for the college to make sense.

There was no mention of any snake people, but there was a mention of Snow Elves having once lived in the area where the college was built. Alas, the Snow Elves had died out due to conflicts with the Vikings, who had taken the place of the Nords in the historical narrative.

A shame, but it made sense as there weren't any Snow Elves living at the College of Winterhold in the game. Perhaps it would have been different if I'd gone with say Blackreach, but it had made sense to me to add another magical school to this world.

These new races had always lived in Europe in their separate magical enclaves, just like how goblins, centaurs, merfolk, and dwarves did here in England and other countries. Over in the US of A, there was a whole race of Bigfoots so having elves in Europe didn't seem like such a big deal.

These magical beings lived hidden away from non-magical humans deep within very old forests and the mountains. The geography and climate combined with certain spells kept the muggles away from these magical places

The magical parts of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden were all under the jurisdiction of the Scandinavian Ministry of Magic as is the College Winterhold. Which I now knew could be found somewhere in the mountain range known as the Scandes that runs through the Scandinavian Peninsula.

In Scandinavia, the Ministry of Magic helps to keep the non-human magical races hidden. Which is a good thing as some humans can barely tolerate each other. I was sure that the discovery of these races would have led to wars of genocide against them, but perhaps I was just being cynical. Even if I was I'd rather not find out by exposing anything magical to the mundane population.

Since the magical races live peacefully in that part of the world it seemed as if the witches and wizards of Scandinavian were more accepting of magical races, and since I'd never seen any of them in Britain they must be wise enough to stay of this country, away from its bigoted Purebloods and corrupt Ministry. Although not all purebloods and people at the Ministry were a bad sort I had recently discovered.

An interesting fact I read about was that while there was some speculation that the magical school Durmstrang was somewhere in Scandinavia, this was only a theory and not supported by any facts. Given that all the other magical schools are quite spread out it didn't make sense for Durmstrang to be anywhere near my magical school.

Since Durmstrange had a Bulgarian founder and a great many of its students came from countries such as Bulgaria or Hungry, the writer of this book suggested that Durmstrang was much further south than some people thought. Perhaps even in the Carpathian Mountains as this would explain the need for clothing suitable for cold weather.

I don't suppose it mattered much as long as no one from Durmstrang bothered any of the students of my new magical school, and it was my school, it was owned by my made-up magical family and had been for centuries even if wasn't run by them. Which made sense as it wasn't as if Dumbledore owned Hogwarts even if he might like to think otherwise.

As I went through the book it mentioned how in Norse mythology there were races called Dökkálfar, the Dark Elves, and the Ljósálfar, the Light Elves, so it made sense that for races of magical elves to pop up in that part of the world if I introduced them as they could have always been there.

It also mentioned legends of how the dökkálfar are subterranean dwellers, so the Norse legends might going on about dwarves, who aren't a type of elf in this world and did exist before I came here. This confusion made some sense because dwarves and dark elves are both races that like to spend a lot of time underground.

Since the book didn't mention much about the orcs or the khajiit, they must be from different parts of the world, and no doubt I could learn more about them when I ventured to Winterhold, and that was something I wouldn't wait long before doing.

This book was very informative, but I did want to find out more and since the school was mine I should have some say in how it was run even if I wasn't going to be its headmaster anytime soon. I only had twelve weeks of magical education after all.

The new reality was that Scandinavia was home to dark elves and many other magical races, and a few members of those races went to Winterhold as students. This is very different to other schools of magic as they normally only accept human students and sometimes students who are mixed race like Hagrid.

Because only witches and wizards are allowed wands, Winterhold teaches wandless magic, so if I changed schools, I would only be able to learn more about magic performed while using a wand if I learned from books or maybe hired a tutor. I liked my wand, and the magic I could learn at Hogwarts seemed rather interesting, but going to the College of Winterhold and meeting non-human magical races would be a fascinating experience.

I kept reading until Luna and Heather came back from their Xmas shopping, having failed to drag me along with them, and as I helped them unpack I talked to them about attending this school.

"You want to leave Hogwarts?" asked Heather "Why?".

To be fair the castle was impressive and this version of the school lacked its worst teachers so its quality of education was much higher than the canon version. However, I'd have more freedom at Winterhold.

"Well to start with I own the College of Winterhold" I mentioned "And if I am going to work on bringing people back to life it makes sense to do that in a remote location that I have a lot of control over. If I'm successful then it would be for the best if we all were at Winterhold and not here in the UK".

I had some reasoning behind that argument.

"Think about how quickly Professor Bagshot recognised you despite not having seen you since you were a baby," I said to Heather "There's no way your parents won't be recognised the first time they go outside, and you don't want to keep them locked up".

I gave Heather a moment to think about that before carrying on.

"Sure it is possible to hide people with magic, but that isn't perfect, and we'll stand a better chance of setting secure new identities for people if we are in Winterhold" I was now saying "Aside from that we'd be away from the Death Eaters and Voldemort if he ever comes back".

Heather looked conflicted.

"My parents fought for this country. Shouldn't we if it comes to it?" she asked.

I didn't think so.

"This would be the same country that abandoned you at your relatives after all of your family died fighting for a country that wouldn't defend itself" I argued, "Heather, you don't owe anyone anything and if I were your parents I'd want you to stay away from the inbred fuckers who think it is fun to be mass-murdering terrorists".

I turned to Luna.

"No offence meant," I said.

She was after all a pureblood as well.

"No taken" assured Luna "Anyone who studies magical creatures can see the dangers of inbreeding".

The blonde then turned to look at me.

"May I go to your new school?" she requested "I haven't made any other friends at Hogwarts and Ginny doesn't seem to want to have much to do with me. I'd rather stay with you two".

This was fine with me.

"What about your father?" I asked, "Doesn't he want you to go to Hogwarts".

Luna didn't seem concerned.

"Given that it is possible to purchase international portkeys I can still visit him" she said "And Crumple-Horned Snorkacks are believed to be native to Sweden".

That seemed like as good a reason as any to go to Winterhold, at least for Luna Lovegood.

"I have this idea of living in Godric's Hollow with my parents again" mentioned Heather "I know it's silly, but it is what I want more than anything".

This might be much of an issue.

"It will take me years to figure out how to bring people successfully" I pointed out "And while we work on it at Winterhold. You can always come back to Britain in a few years if everything is peaceful and we'll have time to figure out how to keep your parent's identity a secret".

Heather gave it some thought as we began to put up decorations the girls had gone out to buy.

"Can we finish out the year at Hogwarts?" she requested "I don't just want to leave part way through the year and we might need to fill out some forms or something if we want to transfer to a different school. If we just up and leave we could get into trouble".

Staying in Hogwarts until the summer made some sense. I needed to find us a tutor for the use of wand magic and there were some relics in this country that I had yet to collect. My treasure map from one of the Zelda games hadn't been put to much use.

"That would work for me as well" stated Luna "I can arrange for Daddy to go to Sweden to hunt Crumple-Horned Snorkacks during the summer, so he can come with us to check out the school while keeping an eye out for Snorkacks. That way I can have some time with him over the summer".

I wasn't concerned about her father seeing Winterhold because even if he uncovered something about the place I didn't want to share and he told others, no one important would believe him about it.

We began to properly decorate the Lovegood home for the traditional Christmas desired by Heather, who'd never been able to have a proper one, at least not since she was a few months old, the Celestial Reliquary made another appearance.

"See this is a much better time to appear" I told the fancy box.

I really hoped that this time I would get something that cost a lot of points but wouldn't require much attention from me.

That gateway to another world was staying locked up in a pocket dimension until I was much more skilled with magic as I had no idea where it went or what I'd been dealing with on the other side.

Worse I didn't even know if anything dangerous could use the gate to enter my pocket dimension and from there somehow reach this world so best to keep it locked up.

This is something that many would prefer to remain out of your hands. Strictly speaking, it is a grimoire, but it is a grimoire that can either bring into our world or banish from our world magical entities that don't belong. Given the right amount of time, rituals, and resources, you can banish anything from minor spirits to even full-on gods.

Well, I didn't know if there was anything in this world that came from another reality, other than myself and the contents of the fancy box, but more reading material was always a bonus, and it was a 600-point item so it must be good for something.

Thinking about it I realised that if I was going to learn to summon the spirits of the dead it would be a good idea to know how to banish them, and since I would be using magic from other worlds there was always a chance of me letting something into this world that didn't belong here.

For now, I was going to help decorate the living room of the Rookery, learning dangerous magic could wait until after the holidays

Part 27.

Slughorn's Party. Hogwarts College.

It was strange to be back in the castle as what would be our second term here at Hogwarts hadn't yet started. Rather I was here with Heather because we had both been invited to a 'small gathering' as the Potion's Master had labelled it, and she'd wanted to be my date.

Not for the first time I was amused by Heather's ability to go from a sort of tomboy/punk to looking and acting far more like the other girls. She was even wearing a new fancy dress that she must have bought when out shopping the other day.

I'd have been happy to bring both of my close female friends as my dates since Heather didn't need to be someone's date to get into the party, she had a separate invitation, but Luna had declined to attend. Given that it was Christmas Eve I'd almost declined coming here myself as I could think of better things to do with my holiday.

Yet here we were in our formal outfits enjoying some champagne as people I didn't know at all kept coming over to introduce themselves. Folks such as Eldred Worple. He was a famous author known for his biographies. The man spent a lot of time talking to Neville Longbottom, no doubt trying to convince the poor lad to share the story of his life so Worple could write another bestseller.

His date, who was Ginny Weasley to my complete lack of surprise as she had claws firmly lodged into the boy by now, did not like having Longbottom's attention diverted so much. I could not help feeling amused by the sight as she not so gently tugged on his arm while the young wizard was in conversation with someone.

I looked around to see that the ceiling and walls had been draped with emerald, crimson and gold hangings, a rather odd selection of colours given that Slughorn was the Head of House Slytherin, as red and gold were Gryffindor colours.

While I didn't think that the houses mattered that much, and most people at the college seemed to agree, at least when there wasn't a Quidditch match going on, it was still an odd choice of decoration in my view. I would have thought silver and green would be more to his taste.

The room was crowded and stuffy, there were too many people around for me to be comfortable. Although that might have something to do with the attention I'd been getting from people who wanted to ask about Winterhold.

News that the college of Winterhold would be reopening soon seemed to have gotten around internationally and I'd greatly underestimated just how much attention it would get me. It must have made the papers and my name must also have been mentioned.

Above us, an ornate golden lamp was dangling from the centre of the ceiling, around the lights real fairies were fluttering about as they were often used for decorative purposes in the Wizarding World. As I understood these faires weren't like the creatures of legend in the muggle world and while they might look Tinkerbell they were not very intelligent.

Over in one corner, there was proof that Gandalf was not the only wizard with a love of the halfling weed. I was familiar with the smell of cannabis, and according to Luna it was forbidden here at the school, but I didn't see anyone telling them that. Besides I shouldn't judge given how much I'd already had to drink.

Another thing I noticed was several house elves who were negotiating their way through what for them must be the forest of human legs. My view of them was obscured by the heavy silver platters of food and drink they were bearing.

Since Hermione Granger was here I wondered if she would ever start SPEW in this timeline, or if she wouldn't bother knowing that she wouldn't get any support due to being such a loner. I wasn't sure how I felt about House Elves as I didn't interact with them.

As the evening wore on, the atmosphere in the room seemed to shift, even I could detect it. The initial excitement of the gathering began to give way to a more relaxed and jovial mood that was suited to the festive season.

I saw Horace Slugborn rather skillfully weaving his way through clusters of guests, as he greeted people and asked about their ill relatives, an impressive feat given his girth and a testament to his good memory.

Heather leaned in closer so that her voice could carry over the background noise.

"The Carrow twins are doing whatever the girl version of going stag is" she mentioned.

I felt fairly the term 'going stag' applied to both genders when they chose not to or couldn't find a date for a social event, or maybe they were together in ways siblings shouldn't be, a silly thought perhaps, but they were purebloods.

"Let's go say hello" I decided.

We moved over the twins who kept their distance from everyone while looking at each other once in a while. I got the feeling that they were communicating with each other without needing to say anything and for all I knew telepathic speech between twins was a real thing and not just something people joke about.

"Hestia, Flora" I greeted "I hope you are having a nice evening".

Since I wasn't a mudblood anymore I expected them to at least be polite towards me. I'd forgotten for a few moments that they were Slytherins and had a habit of looking down on people like us. I blamed the champagne for making me forgetful, but the twins had never been hostile towards me now that I thought about it. Rather they were simply aloof.

"Heather, Darius," one of them said as they both nodded "We are doing well. Thank you?".

We were saved from any further awkward conversation by Slughorn who came over to me.

"Ah, Heather, Darius" he greeted "I am glad you were both able to make it".

It hadn't been much trouble. We'd taken the floo to the Three Broomsticks and Slughorn had made sure the carriages were available for his guests to bring us up the castle and to take us back to the village later. The professor had his faults, but if nothing else he knew how to organise a party.

I assumed he didn't want people using the fireplace in his office for some valid reason. Perhaps he reserved it for latecomers or the most important guests. That seemed like a Slughorn thing to do.

"I'm glad we could be here" I replied "Thank you for the invite".

Okay so I wasn't one for social gatherings, even if this hadn't turned out to be too bothersome, however, there was no need to be rude. Besides, alienating Slughorn could be a mistake, he could be useful to me in the future.

"Glad to hear it," said the teacher before he changed the subject "I just wanted to take a moment to congratulate you on coming into your full inheritance. The mine is one thing, but to find out your family owns a castle which is used as a school, a lot like Hogwarts, and an entire magical town, well it is incredible".

Proof that the Celestial Reliquary was not just some device for handing magical trinkets. It was far more powerful than I had imagined and I had only just begun to discover its power.

Adding the mine had been one thing as even introducing new minerals to the magical world wasn't turning out to be a big deal outside of filling my vault with gold, but introducing Winterhold to this world had created whole new magical races as well as new ways of making use of magic.

"I'm glad to hear of the school reopening," Slughorn was now saying "I heard about the attack by Grindlelwald's forces. I recall reading somewhere about how the village was almost destroyed and the bridge to the castle was heavily damaged. Then when your family came to Britain they closed the school".

An attack by Grindelwald's forces during the 1940s which resulted in the Olle family moving to Britain, nicely explained why the College of Winterhold had no impact on recent events. Add to that the castle wouldn't be as old as Hogwarts so it would have helped to shape as much magical history.

Plus it meshed well with the history of the fictional college of Winterhold, which suffered from some sort of magical disaster that almost destroyed the town which shared its name.

"If you are reopening the college then you might find you have a few students who will be interested in a transfer" mentioned Slughorn "You should go and talk to Miss Granger before you head home".

So the professor was again using his connections to make connections between people that would benefit himself and others. I wondered what he would get out of helping Hermione Granger change schools.

"I'll go talk to her," I said.

Heather tagged along and I found Granger, she was still overdoing it with the makeup and clothes, however, she had to do something with her hair at least so she looked a bit less scary than normal.

"Granger, the Professor told me I should come over and talk to you" I mentioned.

I felt sure she knew why I was here as she must have asked Slughorn for a recommendation or something along those lines.

"Oh Olle, no I just thought that Professor Slughorn might know the Headmaster of Winterhold or somewhere who does," she said "I guess you do know him. You see I'm hoping to get a transfer to the college".

Until this evening I hadn't given any thought to the idea that a Hogwarts student might want to go to a different school. Heather was attached to this place despite only having spent one term here, if only because it connected her to her parents, and if I hadn't asked her to come along I don't she would have left.

The students tended to be rather attached to the castle, and to be fair it was a magical place and aside from a few people, the students would all have friends at the college. Plus going to Hogwarts was a tradition for witches and wizards in this country and people often meant their spouses here.

I suspected that by now a good part of what kept Hogwarts going, at least in the canon timeline, was sheer momentum along with the ability of magical people to act more like sheep than most muggles.

"Granger, why do you want to attend the College of Winterhold?" I asked.

She looked around as if she was worried that someone might be listening so I put up a quick privacy charm.

"No one can eavesdrop on us now" I assured her.

The goth witch's eyes widened for a moment.

"You need to teach me that spell" she insisted "I'm sure I've come across some interesting information I can trade for it if you don't want something else".

The spell should only be known to me, my two close friends, and the Half-Blood Prince, assuming he didn't share it with others. So it was valuable knowledge.

"We can discuss it another time," I said "Let's stay on topic".

Granger agreed to this.

"I want to transfer because the chances of me realising my potential are rather small in this country due to the racism," she told me "Which has only gotten worse, it wasn't so bad in my first year so I was a bit shocked at the attitude of some of the older students".

Since I could recall the scene when Draco Malfoy openly calls her a mudblood in front of at least two Quidditch teams it wasn't hard to imagine how bad it could get. This version of Granger didn't even have Ron Weasley to stand for her.

For some reason, the bigots didn't bother the first years, if anything they went out of their way to avoid us. Maybe there was some unwritten rule about not bothering the new students or maybe the staff would do something if a first-year registered a complaint.

"I'm planning on transferring to Winterhold for the next school year" I let the goth witch know "I'd been willing to bring you with us if you'd be willing to do some tutoring in wand magic".

Not only was she a whole year ahead of us she was no doubt well ahead of her peers, and I wanted to learn some wand magic as it could be useful.

"Is that all you'd want in return?" she asked "What about the cost of my schooling".

Not a concern since I was no longer going to buy a house in this country. Why would I bother when I have a castle I can go and live in?

"I'll cover that if you tutor any students who are allowed wands as best you can and try to keep up with those subjects that involve a wand" I told her "I figure in a few years when you've done your OWLs I could do with a teacher for wand magic. If the school has enough students to justify it".

I'd only planned for a tutor in wand magic for myself and my friends, the rest was just me adding to my plans now that I had someone suitable.

"Yes!" Granger half-shouted "Of course, I'll put together some lesson plans and spend the rest of this year learning what I can. I should be able to gather quite a lot of learning material on the use of wands".

Yes, this could work out very nicely for me. Despite her dour appearance, it was clear that she liked the idea of becoming a teacher.

"Get me a list of books you'll need before the end of the year" I requested "I can pick up them before we leave over the summer. Will your parents be okay with you transferring overseas?".

Granger looked a little unsure for a moment.

"We aren't that close," she said.

I decided not to press her on the matter and instead, I promised to check with in during the school term. I did wonder what she could offer me in exchange for the Half-Blood Prince's spells.

Heather wanted to leave by now, mentioning how she wanted to be up early tomorrow to open her presents. I got the impression that she intended to do her best to make up for missed Christmasses when she was a child.

Of course, the Celestial Reliquary just had to pop up just before we left the party, it had the oddest sense of timing. I figured I'd just get on with it since no one would pay me any attention.

Failed Roll

Or maybe it wasn't?

A failed role at Xmas. How sad. But with everything going on it wasn't as if I needed anything else that would complicate my situation so perhaps it was for the best. With that in mind, I picked up the fancy box as Heather and I made our way out of the party.

Part 28.

The Rookery. Ottery St Catchpole.

"I hope neither of you is feeling too tired. I would like to have sex tonight," mentioned Luna.

Mere seconds ago I'd stepped out of the fireplace, after leaving Slughorn's party and taking a carriage to the Three Broomsticks, and she hadn't even bothered to greet me before declaring that she wanted to go upstairs for some naked fun time. If this was how guys behaved sometimes when it came to sex I could see why so many women faked having headaches.

"Hello, Luna how was your evening?" I asked.

Knowing Heather would stumble even if she had been sober, I ensured I was there to catch her as the young witch fell out of the fireplace.

"Thank you, Darry" she said, "The room was spinning".

She hadn't used Darry as a nickname before. I didn't like it.

"No wizard should have such a casual-sounding name," I told her "It makes us seem too normal to be interesting",

Heather made a thoughtful face.

"Yeah, can you imagine, a wizard called Tom, Dick or Harry, it be a nightmare if you wanted to become a Dark Lord, fear me I am the Dark Lord Tom!" she joked.

I didn't find that funny since I knew the name Voldemort when he was born. Guess I never mentioned it to either of the witches. To be fair it wasn't something that came up in everyday conversation.

"Worse than Tim the Enchanter," I said.

No one got that reference and soon Luna carried on talking as if Heather or I hadn't spoken since I'd stepped out of the fireplace.

"My evening was quite pleasant, Darius," she said "I had a nice supper, I read a romance novel that was quite stimulating, and I listened to some music. Did you enjoy your party?".

Somewhat surprisingly I had.

"It wasn't the extrovert torture I thought it would be," I mentioned.

The blonde stood up, getting off the couch she'd been sitting on.

"Are you too available for a threesome?" she asked "I feel quite inspired by the book I was reading".

Heather looked confused about something.

"You have smutty books?" she asked "As in porn?".

It was as if Heather had never even considered the idea that the magical folks had porn. To be fair given their taste in fashion and entertainment they did seem too old-fashioned for that sort of thing. I'd certainly never seen anything such as a Playwizard magazine that was aimed at young wizards, not even stashed away in the Room of Hidden Things.

"My books are not porn" corrected Luna "They are tasteful erotica".

I laughed a little upon hearing that.

"It's only called erotica because many women don't like to admit that they enjoy porn, and it is porn, it just isn't so obvious as what men look at since there aren't any pictures" I explained "Although to be fair the porn looked at by men does objectify women, but erotica creates unrealistic expectations of men. No real man would act the way guys do in those books".

Luna nodded her agreement.

"I suppose you're right" the blonde-haired "It's not as if you've ever saved some poor witch from a people-eating spider monster like the Curse Breaker adventure I was reading about did when he was in South America".

This made me sigh.

"I didn't go out of my way to save Heather, she was just next to me when I saved my own life" I insisted "Don't build me up to be some sort of hero because I don't want to be one".

Luna frowned at me.

"Does that mean you don't want to plunder the deaths of my treasure vaults like the American Curse Breaker Ohio Jones?" she asked.

I needed a moment to process that.

"Do you mean Indiana Jones?" asked Heather.

Now it was the Ravenclaw Witch's turn to look confused.

"No Ohio Jones, the American Curse Breaker who explores magical ruins in the jungles of South America, along with his love interest the British Witch Maria Blackwood" she corrected.

Well someone had been ripping off muggle pop culture.

"Let me guess does Mr Jones ever fight an organisation that is seeking out artefacts of great power to use to take over the world," I said.

Luna looked a little stunned.

"So you've read the series?" she asked "How else would you know about the Hydra agents?".

Hydra was part of the Marvel setting. That wasn't even the right fictional universe.

"Never even knew it existed until now," I told her truthfully.

Luna looked bewildered.

"Then how do you know about my tasteful erotica?" she wondered.

I'd bet half the contents of my Gringotts vault that it was totally full of graphic sex scenes, or maybe I'd spent too much time on Internet forms and become prevented. I really missed the Internet. Real-life lacked sufficient memes.

"Because Indiana Jones is a fictional character in a series of movies named after the main character, who is a treasure hunter of sorts" I explained.

He was supposed to be an archaeologist, not a treasure hunter but they were pretty much the same thing in fiction. Many a young man grew up to be disappointed when he discovers that archaeology is actually rather dull.

"Indiana Jones in the movies spends his time trying to stop the bad guys, mostly Nazis, from getting their hands on some artefact that would let them take over the world," I told Luna.

Heather looked as if she was thinking of something amusing.

"Does Ohio Jones have a small sidekick?" she asked "Someone who gets the hero into trouble and out of it sometimes".

Luna nodded.

"Yes," she confirmed "Shorty the House Elf".

I had to laugh at the sheer silliness of that and I wasn't the only one.

"It's not fair of me to laugh," said Heather "I used to read books about handsome pirates and imagine they would take me away to have adventures very far Little Whinging".

No wonder she liked my Halloween costume so much.

"When it's your birthday in 2003 remind me to take you to see a certain movie" I told Heather.

That should be when the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie came out. I felt fairly certain it was the summer of that year.

"Err, okay" agreed the perplexed-looking punk witch.

When I glanced over at the other girl in the room I realised that I'd never seen Luna looking so annoyed before it was rather cute.

"Stop ruining my books and my mood. I want to go upstairs and have sex" she said suddenly becoming very serious "I want to have sex with both of you right now".

Luna grabbed both of our hands and began pulling us through the door, we headed up the stairs and to her bedroom. We soon entered the bedroom with Luna still clutching our arms as if she were worried we'd wander off somewhere.

"Quick question," said Heather to me "If I asked would you dress as a pirate again only without the silly accent would you do it?".

I was fine with that.

"Right now or another time?" I asked, "The outfit is in my trunk".

Heather had a silly grin on her face.

"Another time, when it is just the two of us and I'll need a dress suited for a governor's daughter" she stated.

Why did I attract such strange witches to me? I put that out of my mind and I began to undress as I watched the peculiar witches do the same. It didn't take much effort from them to get me erect as they both were very attractive young women and happy to let me stare at their nude forms.

They were both petite girls, but Heather was curvier than Luna with bigger breasts and a rounder bottom, but this didn't mean Luna wasn't sexy, she had something about her that stirred my loins that I couldn't put into words, something that I'd never seen in a non-magical girl.

Since I knew that the Lovegoods had an interest in magical creatures, some of which could breed with humans and were people just as we were in my opinion, I couldn't help wondering if Luna's family tree had some non-humans in it. Sure, would explain a lot about her.

"Oh, Darius's penis!" Luna exclaimed in an excited voice.

She'd seen it before so I didn't get how it could be so thrilling, but then again I knew Luna could find joy in things most people overlooked or simply had gotten too used to.

"Please, Luna, don't call it a penis," Heather begged.

The blonde's pout was rather cute this time.

"Why? That's its name, isn't it?" she pointed out.

The darker-haired witch couldn't help letting out a bit of a sigh.

"Yeah, but it just sounds so clinical. Just call it a cock or a dick, please," she requested

Luna just shrugged as we got into bed and Heather decided that my cock needed to be in her mouth for some reason. She might still be a bit tipsy, it would explain why she felt the need to giggle while trying to give me a blowjob.

"Oh, Heather, let me do that, too" Luna requested.

The other naked witch climbed into the thankfully big bed, keeping her cute little butt up in the air as she got to work on my cock. As Luna was busy with the head of the cock, Heather worked her way down to kiss my balls as best she good. It was something of a struggle for them as the two witches had their heads pressed close.

"Oh, fuck. That feels amazing," I told them.

Heather stopped and watched what Luna was doing. She might be turning into a bit of a voyeur as she'd spent a bit of time over the holidays watching me and Luna fuck. Not that the smaller witch seemed to mind, if anything she'd been encouraging it.

"Suck that big cock. You love it, don't you?" asked the punk witch.

Luna didn't reply but just began to move her mouth up and down my shaft even faster. The small blonde girl was getting into it, and at this rate, I'd blow my load before getting my cock into either of their tight little cunts. Not that I found the strength to ask her to stop as it felt really good. She was basically fucking her own throat with my cock.

"Okay my turn" said Heather after a while,

Luna obligingly took my dick out of her mouth and she offered up my saliva-coated cock to her friend as if offering a sip from her drink. Heather was quite enthused about getting to give me a blowjob, she was making pleasant humming noises that were very stimulating.

"Slow down girls" I requested.

Heather gave me one of her trademark smirks. I never got tired of them.

"You ready to spunk already?" she asked "Are we too much for you?".

The two girls took delight in knowing this as it made them feel good about themselves.

"I guess we'll have to let you cool down a bit. I suppose I'll just have to play with Luna instead" said Heather.

She'd gotten a lot more confident about this sort of thing since we came to the Rookery. To think she'd been a virgin until the end of October.

"I don't know," said Luna "Wouldn't us two having fun overstimulate Darius?".

Heather simply didn't care and neither did the other witch, at least not for long as soon their lips were locked together as their hands explored each other's bodies. For a time Heather paid a lot of attention to her playmate's little nipples before she pressed her chest into Luna's more modest breasts so they could kiss some more.

Over time the fingers of their hands began to probe what was between their own legs and the other witches. Doing so resulted in a lot of lewd noises coming from both girls. Far more than was required and Heather kept stealing glances at me, letting me know that she was putting on a bit of an act. I didn't think Luna cared if this was meant to be a bit of a performance, she was into it, or a much better actress than she'd ever let on.

"I need a camera" I muttered.

A magical camera was one of the few things I wanted that I'd not found in the Room of Hidden Things or for sale in Hogsemede. I would have to check Diagon Alley for one.

"Enjoying the view that much?" Heather asked in amusement.

What a silly question.

"I'm watching the two most sexy girls I know rub each other pussies" I said "Of course, I'm enjoying the show".

Luna turned to look at me and smiled.

"That was a very nice thing for you to say" she commented.

Given her reaction, I might as well have praised her work in class.

"Come on let's drive Darius wild until he can't hold back any more and he just ravages one of us or maybe both," said Heather.

This time the blonde-haired witch did react more emotionally.

"Just like in my book," said Luna happily.

If they wanted me to lose control they'd have to do better than just fooling around, and they did put more effort into it. Soon Heather was lying on her back next to me while Luna began to perform cunnilingus on Heather with just as much gusto as she had for me. I wondered if she had an oral fixation of some kind.

"Oh, Luna! You really know how to lick pussy," Heather claimed.

I couldn't help teasing her.

"What, is my tongue not good enough?" I asked.

Heather smirked again.

"Your beard tickles my thighs" was all she was able to say on the matter.

She might have spoken more about that, but Luna was distracting her very effectively. In turn, I distracted my fellow Ravenclaw when I finally got off the bed, got behind her, grabbed her hips and shoved my cock inside her, which was most certainly something she wanted.

The show was extremely erotic, but I simply needed to cum inside one of them. It was hard to watch the two witches do anything sexual with each other and not end up trying to pulverise their pussies.

"Oh, Nargles!" the small witch yelled.

My sudden entrance into her body resulted in Luna completely ignoring her friend's cunt. Luna was soon too busy pushing against me. She might be happy to explore her sexuality, but I knew that she was mostly straight and craved some good fucking.

"Luna, please get your tongue back into my pussy" pleaded Heather.

Poor Luna did her best, but she couldn't focus on what her mouth was supposed to be doing. She wasn't able to multitask while I using my Pussy Destroyer on her. This resulted in Heather pouting quite a bit at the unfairness even if the view from where she was lying might be rather enjoyable.

"Darius, please fuck me" she requested.

Luna made a very odd noise that I took to be some sort of verbal protest at the idea of my cock leaving her pussy unoccupied.

"No, I want you to say inside me," she said.

There was no choice to be made as at this point, I was just too worked up to stop fucking Luna, short of Heather tackling me. Luna was quite delighted when I unloaded my cum into her very tight little pussy and expressed this loudly.

Luna seemed quite satisfied with what she'd gotten and her cute little bottom, which she'd been pointing up into the air, finally dropped when I let go of her hips. While her face was now back between Heather's legs, she didn't try to please the other young woman. This disappointed the glasses-wearing witch.

"You better get hard again" she said in a huff "I didn't get to cum".

Given that I was sharing a bed with two naked girls I didn't think this would be an issue but she could wait as I needed to lie down again. Luna just stayed where she was. She must have reached her climax she looked a hit out of it much to my amusement.

Part 29

The Rookery. Ottery St Catchpole.

Waking up with two young women in a bed with you is a very pleasant experience overall even if it gets a bit stuffy at night as they both try to wrap themselves around you. I also discovered that the reason polygyny is so rare might be because you can only spoon with one girl at a time.

This results in one woman not getting her allotment of cuddles, and they do not like this as they may complain about getting poked in the bum when spooning, these two witches at least, secretly enjoy it I'm sure. I suppose it could be considered flattering.

It can also be tricky to get up and pee when you wake up due to the entanglement of limbs. Yet it wasn't something I would trade for all the gold in Gringotts because I'd come to cherish these two girls more than anything else in this world and I had some super cool stuff in my possession so this really meant something.

Neither of my two witches are exactly what you would call morning people, at least not during the holidays, so it was a bit of a shock to the system to have Heather Potter of all people waking me up in the morning.

"It's Christmas Day!" called out a very happy-sounding Heather.

I refused to get up out of bed, and while it was tempting to point out that I wasn't a parent and therefore I did not need to go downstairs with her to open presents at such an hour, that seemed too cruel of a thing to say to an orphan.

This was made worse when she called me Daddy and nibbled on my earlobe. Which I guess was meant to be erotic and to stir me into action. Rather it made me think that things could be very awkward if I ever did manage to bring her father back to life.

"Darius, get up, child Heather wants to live vicariously through grown-up Heather" she insisted.

That made no sense.

"I'm fairly certain you can't live vicariously through yourself" I commented.

Still, I got out of bed and began to dress as much as I could be bothered to.

"You can if you are the kid who sat around in her bedroom while her cousin played on his new Sega Saturn and all you got that morning was a bunch of coat hangers," commented Heather.

One of these days I would go and curse her relatives.

"Are you using your crappy childhood to guilt me into letting you act like a spoiled brat?" I asked.

Heather smirked at me in the way that she enjoyed doing so often. I found it disagreeable how she could be so chipper this morning given that we'd been out late last night and we'd followed that up with a quick threesome.

It was somewhere around six in the morning at this point. I didn't get up this early when I had classes. Something Luna might have mentioned if I could understand her grunting.

"Depends, is it working?" she asked back.

Damn it, it was working and now she was giving me puppy dog eyes too. How could any mortal man resist?

I ended up going downstairs before anyone else as the two witches decided to spend a great deal of time in the bathroom. Couldn't they have gotten ready first and then woke me up?

"A shame it isn't snowing" commented Heather as she came into the living room.

That part I could fix if I could get away with it. I'd been planning something to make this day a bit more Christmassy if that was the word, and I just needed to check something in one of the many books here before finally trying out the spell.

"We are shielded from magical detection here, aren't we?" I asked Luna as I went down a level.

From her spot in the kitchen where she was brewing coffee, the blurry-eyed girl (who I noticed had put a Christmas jumper on without putting anything on her lower half) yawned at me before replying.

"Yes, some of Daddy's experiments wouldn't meet with their approval and the Ministry only bothers to monitor the more densely populated Muggle areas anyway" she said "Mum made sure of that for her charms work".

This explains how Tom Riddle could murder his muggle family, then hang out in their house decades later, and take out the caretaker all without being detected.

I took the Staff of Magnus outside and made use of the Snowflake-Making Spell, which did what the name suggested and would normally just result in a bit of snow even indoors, but since I was channelling my magic through a divine instrument the power of the spell was greatly magnified. It was a good thing I wasn't that good with magic yet or I might have caused a short-lived localised snowstorm.

It was possible that either the Diggorys or the Weaslys, the two other magical families who lived in this area, might report the sudden snow, but it wasn't as if anyone would believe a first-year managed it.

"There you go it is snowing" I told Heather "Don't say I can't get into the spirit of the season".

She squealed in delight in such a high-pitched tone of voice that I would have worried for the eardrums of any dogs nearby if The Rookery wasn't soundproofed.

"I will soon start on the Holiday Blancmange" informed Luna as she came up into the living room.

Must be some sort of wizarding tradition as I'd never had blancmange at Xmas while growing up, or maybe it was just a Luna thing.

"After the presents" insisted Heather.

She dived into the gifts and without much delay. Since they were under the tree she had to get onto her hands and knees to get at them. Because of this, I had quite the view from this angle as she pulled out under the tree a broomstick-placed package. Like Luna, she wore a seasonal jumper and just a pair of socks to go with it.

"Did you shave your pussy?" I asked.

The girl in glasses smiled at me and pushed her jumper down so that I could not stare at her cunt despite her knowing that I had just gotten an eyeful.

"Heather noticed that you like that my vagina is uncovered by any hair so she used my removal creme while we were getting ready," Luna informed "I think it makes her vagina look quite pretty and she told me she was doing it to make you horny".

The other witch was too used to Luna's remarks to be embarrassed even if she found it a bit annoying that the other witch used the proper name for our genitals. I didn't care what she called my dick as long as I got to put inside one of her holes.

"I wasn't going to tell him right away," she told her friend "I wanted to tease him a bit before giving him an eyeful".

She soon diverted her attention to her large and poorly disguised present.

"Oh, gosh, I wonder what this could be?" said the punk witch with a silly smile on her face.

Even Luna would normally pick up on the teasing sarcasm, but she hadn't fully woken up yet.

"I think it's a broomstick" she helpfully supplied.

Heather eagerly ripped off the paper anyone to find a Nimbus 2000. I'd brought her this gift because she didn't get onto the team in the first year unlike Harry Potter and this meant McGonagall wasn't likely to buy her a broom.

"Is this a Nimbus 2000?" she asked.

Since 'Nimbus 2000' was written in gold letters on the side I didn't feel the need to answer that question, and I wouldn't have been able to give her one anyway as Heather became a blur as she came over to hug me.

"I know I can't take it to college with me but I love it anyway!" she called out.

First years weren't allowed their own brooms and you could only bring one to the college if you took the flying classes. Some sort of health and safety thing, something I found quite bizarre even the rather criminal lack of care shown in the books/movies to the students who were much younger in that universe.

"You can keep it here" offered Luna.

I'd planned to let her hide the broomstick in my trunk since it was secure but it made sense to keep it here.

"Time for more presents" Heather soon decided.

I admired the view again as the punk witch dived into the wrapped-up gifts and passed one to Luna. It was a jar of something as even with magic I was terrible at using wrapping paper.

"Oh how did you know I wanted some pearl dust" exclaimed Luna.

It was an ingredient used in potion making. It dust was most well known for its use in love potions, as well as the tricky-to-make Potion of Invisibility. She'd mentioned wanting some because it would be fun to be invisible. Luna didn't need more of a reason than that.

"I do listen sometimes," I said.

We did take potions class together and she'd mentioned that she was having trouble getting her hands on some of the valuable dust.

"It's very expensive" Luna pointed out.

Only if you don't find a small jar of it the Room of Hidden Things, which I had. The jar was enchanted to keep the contents fresh so it didn't matter how old it was.

"I got a good deal" I assured her.

Both of the girls looked a bit guilty.

"All we got you were sweets and some books" stated Heather "It feels unfair".

I didn't agree with her assessment. I was a true Ravenclaw and did not believe a person could own enough books and I didn't point that since I'd not opened any of mine yet she'd just ruined the surprise.

"If you give someone an expensive gift to get something back then it's a bribe, not a gift" I pointed out "Besides I'm not taking anything back to the shops. You have to accept my gifts and enjoy them or it was all a waste of money".

Getting a refund in the magical world was a pain because they don't keep records of purchases as they did in Muggle shops.

"We just don't want you getting into debt so you can buy us presents," Luna said "You need to think about your future".

They didn't need to worry about that.

"Don't worry the mine is very profitable" I assured them "Lyruim is worth many times its weight in gold and the other metals aren't that far behind, and since it is an infinite mine the money will keep coming in. Even if the value of the metals drops it won't be by much as there will always be a high demand and I am the only supplier".

Heather still looked a little bothered about something and once pressed she shared her concern.

"I was just thinking that I can't join the Quidditch team next year if I leave Hogwarts," she said.

That might not be an issue.

"If there are enough students you can make a team at Winterhold" I suggested "We just need a pitch, some balls and a few hoops. It's not that big of a deal. I'll get someone to make you a pitch if need be".

If it was a magical school it might already have a

pitch.

"I still feel as if I'm taking advantage of you somehow" stated Heather.

She simply wasn't used to people being so generous.

"Does that mean you don't want your dragonhide jacket and belt?" I teased, "I can always give it to someone else".

Her leather jacket was starting to look a bit worn.

"I'm sure we can think of something nice to do for Darius to express our gratitude," said Luna in a way that seemed innocent yet might not be "Maybe we make him a nice meal".

Given that Heather didn't like to cook due to it being one of the chores her aunt made her do so much it would actually be meaningful if she did that for me.

This might have been discussed further but the punk witch decided to dive back into the pile to find her dragonhide jacket. The allure of having new clothes was just too much for her to resist.

"You could shake that ass for me if you want to give a present" I suggested.

Heather giggled while doing so and all too soon for my liking, she came out from the pile with the jacket she just had tried on right away despite it clashing with her jumper.

I was distracted from this rather sweet sight by the appearance of the Celestial Reliquary.

The point system made no sense I saw no reason why I'd gotten four hundred this time.

"Since it is Christmas and you have beta-tested the Celestial Reliquary for us, we have decided to give you one gift we feel is suitable for you and to allow you multiple rolls just this once. You may keep rolling until all your points are spent or can save them it is up to you" I read out.

Heather and Luna leaned in to see the scroll.

"That's new" the darker-haired witch commented "You told us it only lets you have one thing at a time".

If someone or something out there wanted to give me more stuff then that was fine with me. It wasn't as if I was really paying for anything. Which was good because the heck could I give in trade for all I had gotten?

"I wonder what I got?" I questioned.

By reading further down the scroll I found out.

The Lost Library of Cagliostro - Marvel

Any Master of the Mystic Arts understands that the true gateway to power is knowledge. It is for this reason that the wise Cagliostro hid his library away from the world. Thankfully, you have a backdoor key. Protected by magical enchantments that gave even Dr. Strange pause, this library contains hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of books on the arcane arts.

Even forbidden tomes and texts thought lost to time are protected within this expansive stone structure. From now on, you may access the library at any time, conjuring a doorway to the mysterious jungle that hides this place from prying eyes if you don't hide it away in a pocket dimension.

Should you travel to other magical worlds the library will expand, allowing you to find all manner of magical texts and literature within

There was no way in hell I was letting that out into the world because it would fought over by every witch or wizard with a desire for forbidden knowledge. Some knowledge was just too dangerous for people than other me to have. Even if it ended up in some remote part of a jungle someone would find it before I learned enough magic to hide it.

"Such a Ravenclaw thing to get" muttered Heather.

I let the two witches read the scroll while I looked in the fancy box to find what looked like a very fancy library card. It took me a little time to figure it out. I already had a pocket dimension with a portal in it the library must have become a part of that dimension. I'd check for sure later and while it was risky as that portal might have let something I figured that it would be worth it to access the library.

"Who is Doctor Strange?" wondered Heather.

To be fair, he wasn't one of the most well-known comic book characters, and it's not like Luna knew about Marvel Comics. If she had she'd know that her smutty books were ripping off Marvel ideas.

"He's the Sorcerer Supreme," I said.

Luna titled her head.

"Is that like a Chief Warlock?" she wondered

The mere idea was silly.

"No, the Sorcerer Supreme defends the world from mystical threats such as creatures from other dimensions," I told the witches.

While picking up the scroll I wondered if I'd just given the witches the impression that Doctor Strange was someone real here. If so I could correct them later.

"I guess I'll spend some points then," I said.

Pepper UP Potion - Harry Potter

A Potion which is made to cure the common cold and invigorates the user for a few hours. Consuming more than one in a small time frame can have negative effects. Consult a healer for safe use. Refills upon use.

It was good that the girls could not read the scroll from where they were sitting or Heather might have wondered why her surname was on the scroll. I simply didn't wish to tell them that they were fictional characters in a book series about Heather's male counterpart. How the hell do you make that make sense?

"A position you can buy or make yourself?" commented Heather "What good is that".

If I was in a different world it would be a different story.

"It refills by itself so it is not worthless" I pointed out "And a hundred points isn't much of a loss".

I wrote on the scroll for another roll.

"Mirror Shield - Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker" I read out "The mirror shield is a sturdy and reliable thing, able to block enemy attacks with ease. However, as one might imagine, its true power comes from its well-polished front, hence the name of Mirror Shield. This mirror is intended to be used to reflect light, and adds in the faintest traces of holy magic, often stunning or damaging evil creatures and forcing ghostly beings to solidify for a short while. On top of that, the shield is also capable of deflecting full-on light magic, such as the Light Arrows".

I gave this some thought.

"It sounds as if it would be good for repelling dementors and lethifolds" said Luna "But I don't like the idea of making ghosts solid, it sounds as if this shield could be used to harm them".

Not one of the better rolls I'd gotten as I'm a wizard, not a warrior, and Luna was right to be concerned as ghosts were harmless they shouldn't be messed with.

"I've still got six hundred points" I told the witches "I've gotten some really good stuff for that amount of points".

I'd need to build my points up again as rolling with anything less than 500 points didn't seem worthwhile.

"The Spear of Osiris - The Mummy," I said

"Whose Mummy?" asked Luna.

I couldn't help snickering.

"A Mummy as in someone who has been mummified. In Muggle horror stories mummies are a kind of undead creature that awaken when people mess with their tombs. They aren't real" I stated.

Luna still looked confused.

"Mummies are really" she insisted "They are a leading cause of death for Curse Breakers employed by Gringotts".

Since this was Luna talking that might not be true and just be something published in the Quibbler.

"The Spear of Osiris is a magical artefact used against the Scorpion King; it can kill creatures that are normally immortal or invincible, and it is especially effective against the creatures of myth and legend" I read out.

That could come in real handy one day. Like the Staff of Magnus, it was a divine relic so it could do things that would otherwise be impossible, such as killing people who were already dead.

"Bit of a mixed bag, but overall worth it" I stated.

A spear that kills immortals. I was keeping that on my person. Who knew what might attack me here in the Wizarding World?

Part 30.

Hogwarts Express. On Route To Hogwarts.

The girl, who in another timeline would be called 'The Brightest Witch of her Age' looked at her reflection in the window as the world outside the train became darker. Something that well suited her general mood and allowed her to see her reflection. It looked different than it had when she'd boarded this train back in December.

Spoiler: less scary Hermione

Hermione Granger wasn't quite sure why she'd so suddenly changed her look, and perhaps there wasn't one single reason. Her mother's passive-aggressive comments about her looks could get a bit tiresome, and putting on all that makeup, even with magic, was a chore. Besides, she was going to start a new school later in the year, so perhaps it was time to reinvent herself.

The new way she was trying to handle her hair seemed to be enjoying some success, and sure she was too pale, due to spending more time than was healthy in the library, but overall this style was less work, and she hoped to fly under the radar for the rest the school year so being less noticeable was good.

In the past her looks hadn't been able to draw attention to her, rather they had been a means of keeping away by appearing unsettling, or perhaps dead to the world so that she wouldn't be bothered by it. The style had worked and she'd been left alone.

She certainly had not changed her look because she wanted to be accepted by anyone, not even Darius Olle, who seemed somewhat interested in her, academically at least. Unless he'd been making an elaborate and extremely insensitive joke, he seemed interested in having her take up a teaching role someday day at the school he recently came to own.

That was an amazing opportunity as there were magic schools out there that didn't even accept Muggle-born students and even Hogwarts had never had one of her kind as a member of the teaching staff even if they had a squib caretaker at the school. Hermione wondered if this lack of representation was the fault of the Headmaster or the school board. Since one of the teachers was part goblin the situation didn't really make sense.

So for her to be offered the chance to even work towards such a job was amazing. And since Darius Olle owned the castle of Winterhold he could do what he wished for it. Who was going to stop him from hiring who he pleased? Besides, the College of Winterhold was known for accepting non-humans so having a muggle-born on staff wouldn't be a big deal.

Who knew how high she could rise in a school that took non-human students and with an owner she would have the chance to impress first-hand? She could become a respected professor, or Scholars as they were called at Winterhold, maybe she could even become a Master Wizard, a gender-neutral title, or even become Arch-Mage one day. After all, Darius might not want to run the school.

Hermione was ambitious, and if not for the fact that she a muggle-born she'd have been a shoo-in for Slytherin House, but the Sorting Hat wasn't cruel and it knew what happened to muggle-born sent down to the dungeons. At the very least she'd have been driven out of the school by the bullying, assuming she wasn't outright murdered.

Hufflepuff House hadn't even been a consideration, she was hardworking sure, but she was loyal to no one and unsociable. Had she been younger and a lot more naive she might have been drawn into Gryffindor House, but she'd long ago stopped believing in people's inherent goodness or heroes. Honour and chivalry existed only in stories for silly children.

Years of bullying in High School had killed any belief she had in any fairness in life or the idea that authority figures could be trusted to help her. Even Slughorn, who had recognised her intelligence and drive, was only out for himself, he only lent her aid because it would benefit him in the long run and that was fine with her.

At least he had no interest in getting sexual favours from her, perhaps he was just too old for that sort of thing, and he had done her a solid by sending Darius Olle to talk to her at the Christmas Party. She'd only gone because she needed to stay in the Slug Club to make contracts later that might let her have some sort of career. She'd been more right than she'd known.

Slughorn had also been honest with her about the challenges she would face due to her status, whereas the other teachers had lied, and assured her that there were plenty of jobs out there for a bright young witch.

Hermione sighed. Bitterness would not help her now. She had to seize this chance to do something

meaningful with her life, and that meant leaving the carriage, finding Darius Olle, and giving him that book list he wanted.

The young Miss Granger forced herself to get up and find the young wizard. This chance for success could not be wasted. She would be polite and helpful, to show her worthiness for the role she'd been offered. A tutor for now and more later. No one would just hand her anything, she would have to work for it.

Hogwarts Express. On Route To Hogwarts.

Luna Lovegood was quite pleased with how her holiday had been spent. She'd gotten to share her free time with two people she felt very close to even before she'd begun exploring her sexuality with them and hadn't that been lots of fun?

Darius had always been kind to her and attentive, actually listening to her even when she went on about her Daddy's wilder theories, and there was Heather who badly needed good friends after how she'd grown up. Plus, it was nice to have another girl to share things with and who didn't mind trying out new things with her.

While Luna was very fond of Heather Potter, she was also a little bit worried as Heather's upbringing hadn't prepared her life as an adult. That was why it was important for her to have good friends and someone to look after her.

Heather didn't seem to understand that Darius just wasn't going to be the type of wizard who settled down with one girl. Why would we when he wasn't going to live a normal life? Even she could see that and Luna knew she wasn't the best when it came to understanding other people.

"You don't like that Hermione Granger is talking to Darius" stated Luna.

It hadn't been a question, but Heather answered it anyway.

"No I don't" she replied "She'd changed her look, and she turned out to be pretty".

Luna didn't see the issues, she thought Heather was very pretty with a nice sense of style and a vagina that was fun to lick. Hermione Granger, who wanted to talk to Darius in private in books, seemed very closed off and so was unlikely to go do anything sexual with Darius. At least not right now, but things could change and Hermione Granger seemed more relaxed than he had been last term.

"Do you think Darius will try to have sex with her?" questioned Luna.

Heather looked unhappy.

"He shouldn't try to," she complained.

Luna thought it was a little odd that Heather, who had become quite enthusiastic about having sex with Darius and even watching the wizard have sex with Luna, now felt threatened by this other girl whom none of them knew at all.

"Maybe he wants to experiment with another girl as we did over Christmas" suggested Luna.

Heather frowned upon hearing that.

"Aren't we enough?" the punk girl wondered.

Luna didn't see things that way.

"He doesn't belong to us" she pointed out "If anything you want to belong to him, but I don't think he'll belong to you alone".

Heather shifted in her seat. Unsure of what to say.

"I know he doesn't want to be my boyfriend," she said.

Luna shrugged again.

"You don't need a boyfriend you need a daddy" the blonde-haired witch stated "You want Darius to take care of you".

Heather frowned again.

"I can take care of myself" she insisted.

Luna smiled at her friend.

"So can I and I still like having my daddy around" she pointed out "At least when he isn't trying to find proof that Santa Claws is a slave master".

Heather was infested with Wrackspurts so Luna did her best to explain how things were.

"Your poor upbringing has resulted in you lacking any proper affection so it is only natural you'd seek it out and become attached to a man who offered it to you" Luna was now saying "But Darius doesn't want a partner and I'm not sure he can have one since partners are meant to equal and he not exactly a normal wizard. So if you can't be equal then let him be in charge and you can be his whatever you want to label it. He'll give you the affection you desire and he'll be free to explore his sexuality with other girls who will have to accept us both being in his life if they want to be close to him".

Luna simply didn't see why this was confusing poor Heather. The punk witch wanted Darius to look after her, to spoil her at times, and to be with him physically, but he didn't want a conventional relationship, so the answer was to have an unconventional relationship, and they already did.

"Why exactly can't we be partners?" Heather wondered.

Luna had known why for a while.

"Because of his Celestial Reliquary," she answered "Darius will soon be much more powerful than either of us if he isn't already. We'll be left behind unless we accept this and our role in his life. All of the most powerful wizards end up alone because they have no one to be their equal. But you don't need to be an equal to be with someone".

Luna suspected that Darius most likely hadn't realised this either and if he had done so he'd have a terrible time trying to explain his feelings. He was rather bad at that, but Luna picked up on the things he didn't say, and he was very cuddly so she didn't much care if he didn't tell her how he felt.

It wasn't as if she needed his assurances that she was sexy and smart, it just was nice when he showed her he found her to be sexy and he respected her mind by actually listening to her when she spoke.

"So what?" asked Heather "I should just be whatever he wants to me be?".

It was that simple.

"I plan to keep things casual as I'm not interested in romantic attachments at this time, and if you are interested in wizards who will be a more normal kind of lover then there are other boys at the castle, many in your own house" Luna reminded "Darius doesn't care for traditional romance, at least not much, so if you want that sort of thing you should go looking for it, or you can admit you want to belong to Darius and just tell him he's your Daddy".

Heather sighed.

"I do like calling him Daddy" she admitted "It's fun to tease him a bit".

Luna was just of the opinion that Daddy was the most important person in a girl's life no matter if he was also your father or not. However, she did learn such things by listening to stoned hippies who wanted to overthrow the government with peace and love, so there was a small chance she was wrong.

"What would I have to do for him?" Heather wondered.

Luna shrugged.

"I imagine you are already doing it" she said "Darius seems quite comfortable with you. The rest will follow naturally. You need to just let it happen".

Heather just needed to relax and accept the situation that already existed. She belonged to Darius and had been fine with that over the holidays. For some reason going back the college had changed things for Heather.

"Okay, but he better not start liking that Granger girl more than me" Heather decided as she smiled a little "I have enough pretty Ravenclawes to compete with already".

Heather got serious again for a moment.

"I think I understand now. Thank you, Luna" she said.

Luna returned the smile, her heart lighter knowing she could offer her friend solace.

"Anytime, Heather. We're in this together, after all" she replied.

Luna then went back to her book while wondering if friendship was always this much work. She also wondered why everyone felt the need to pair up, one boy and one girl as if life was nothing more than dance. People were silly creatures who could learn a lot by following her example.

When Darius returned the Celestial Reliquary appeared, which hadn't happened as far as Luna knew since Christmas Day, but rather than get something new Darius declared that he was saving his point and then went back to his own book.
