Just as she was about to open the door, a call suddenly came through. It was from Yu Zexiao.
Jian Anning was puzzled and immediately answered the phone, "Zexiao?"
"Anning, where are you? Are you in the hall?" Yu Zexiao's voice was a bit urgent, and there was a lot of noise in the background. She could occasionally hear the sound of dishes being smashed, as if a commotion was happening.
"No, I'm at the back." Jian Anning glanced back at Situ Xuan, "Is something wrong?"
"No, someone is causing trouble in the hall after drinking. Don't come over, wait in the back. I'll come find you after it's over."
"Is someone picking a fight with you?" Jian Anning immediately became nervous after hearing this.
Yu Zexiao shook his head, "It's got nothing to do with me. Two guests are having an argument. Just stay put, I'll call you if anything happens."
"Alright." Jian Anning nodded, realizing she might not be able to leave now.
