Xiaocheng no longer likes the toys that Lian Xinying bought today.
"I like everything my mom buys!" Xiaocheng said in an endearing 'sweet talk'.
Yan Ye's father felt immensely pleased seeing his son being verbally defeated by his grandson.
"Mom buys everything for me, not for my sister. Mom loves me the most!" As Xiaocheng went on, he became more smug.
"Your mom clearly bought something for your sister too, a new dress for her." Yan Ye's father retorted, making Xiaocheng roll his eyes.
Can't we just let the little guy enjoy his moment of pride?
"It's clearly meant for me!"
"She bought one for your sister too. Your clothes are the same, just different sizes." Yan Ye's father continued.
Xiaocheng rolled his eyes again.
He didn't even want to eat anymore and left the table.
"I'm never playing with grandpa again."
The little guy was truly aggrieved.
Yan Ye also left the table and went over to scoop his son back.
