Su Yunjin understood that Aunt Bao had misunderstood, but it was inappropriate to explain in front of Princess Baolu, so she could only use her eyes to signal Aunt Bao not to be rude. Princess Baolu, with her mind solely on Xue Chu, was waiting for his answer and didn't notice Aunt Bao's hostility, whereas Xue Chu respectfully looked at Gu Ya to respond.

"Young Master, Mr. Wen whom you asked me to find, likely cannot come today."

As soon as Xue Chu finished speaking, a trace of obvious disappointment flashed across Princess Baolu's face, and she mumbled to herself, "I knew it, I knew it would be like this again."

Pressing her lips together, Princess Baolu turned to Gu Ya, "Brother Gu, why... why does he like to hide from me? Do I really not want him to see me that much?" Princess Baolu's disappointed expression had already turned into one of sadness and grievance.
