Of course, amidst the vast yellow sands... not a single Benevolent Lord arrived on foot.
Some Benevolent Lords were seated atop great elephants, some carried in palanquins lifted by Giants, and others nestled within massive desert ships...
Yet without exception, none of their conveyances could enter even the second Ring. Holy Spring City was unlike the Holy Nation which had constructed lifts... Here, the only way to reach higher Rings was to walk up the spiraling stone, lead, and Gold staircases.
To ascend the tower, one must first traverse the interior of the waterfall—more precisely, the water curtain. Thus, for ordinary Parthians, strolling upward amidst the refreshing mist was doubtless a blessing, and a spiritual cleansing.
But for the Benevolent Lords, to suggest they hike such lofty and distant stairs together with other commoners was sheer daydreaming.
