"Really? How come I didn't know?" Tian Ermei said, thinking that this old lady seemed to resemble An Hui.
"Would the old lady lie to you?"
Ermei instantly became alert. Without saying a word, she turned around and walked back.
Yet she hadn't walked more than a few steps when she heard footsteps behind her. She turned sharply, and a heavy blow landed on her forehead.
Her vision went black and she collapsed to the ground.
After a long time, Tian Ermei awoke from her coma, opening her eyes to find herself in an unfamiliar room.
A bundle of cloth stuffed her mouth, her body bound by rope, with the other end tied to the bedpost.
Just as she wanted to struggle, she heard voices coming from the outer room.
"How could you be so stupid? This was supposed to be an easy play, and now you've ruined it," said the old lady she had seen that evening.
