Konoha?
Mr. A and Uchiha Itachi exchanged a glance, both seeing confusion in each other's eyes.
At first, Mr. A wanted to ask why, but then he thought better of it. This was a divine decree personally sent down by the "Dark Angel." Who was he to question it? So, he wisely closed his mouth.
"You have greatly disappointed the Lord."
Sasrir's dark eyes lowered, looking down at Mr. A kneeling on the ground, and most importantly, Uchiha Itachi.
Feeling that cold gaze, as if it had weight and substance, carrying an oppressive atmosphere, neither Mr. A nor Itachi dared to speak.
They were nearly pressed flat against the earth, cold sweat pouring down their backs as they swallowed nervously, afraid to open their mouths.
They didn't know how much time passed—each second felt like a year, enduring immense torment.
Finally, just as both were about to break, Sasrir decided the moment was right. He slowly spoke, breaking the heavy silence with a hint of displeasure:
"Your faith pleases the Lord, but your abilities disappoint Him. In just over a decade, you nearly allowed the faith established on this earth to vanish. Do you know the weight of your sins?"
At these words, Mr. A broke into a cold sweat, his face pale and bloodless. His voice trembled:
"I, Lord Sasrir, we have betrayed the trust of the Lord."
He made no excuses. His heart ached that such a great light could nearly be extinguished in so short a time.
And he, as a chosen servant trusted by the Lord, was the greatest sinner!
"Good. Since you admit your guilt, I will, on behalf of the Lord, forgive you."
Sasrir nodded slightly, his tone indifferent:
"But you must atone for your sins. The Great Light must rise again."
The merciful Lord had forgiven such a grave sinner like him.
Tears streamed down Mr. A's face, his heart filled with immense happiness. His Lord had never abandoned anyone.
Even someone as powerless as him could still receive the Lord's mercy.
Those damned, ignorant, foolish ninjas who dared defy the Lord's glory were courting death!
He, Mr. A, would create a divine kingdom on earth for the One and Only Lord!
"Yes, Lord Sasrir!"
Mr. A's expression was wild and fierce, his eyes burning red with rage as he shouted:
"This time, I will make the Lord's glory shine upon every corner of the ninja world!"
"As for you, Uchiha Itachi."
Sasrir shifted his gaze to the black-haired boy beside him.
"Your only mission is to advance as quickly as possible. In the near future, the Lord will need your strength."
The Lord—the great one who created everything—will need his power?!
Hearing those words, Uchiha Itachi felt his heart race wildly. His fair skin flushed bright red as he gasped sharply, "I-I understand, Lord Sasrir. I will do my best to advance quickly!"
"Good. As a reward, when you return, I will personally help you with your Advancement."
Sasrir's cold eyes softened slightly as he promised them this 'reward'—a carrot after a slap, both punishment and encouragement.
Sure enough, Mr. A and Uchiha Itachi both showed grateful expressions.
After all, since the disappearance of the Three Great Sages, their prayers had gone unanswered.
They didn't know how to perform the next Advancement ritual or how to prepare the Beyonder potion, and had been stuck at Sequence 5 for a long time.
Now, hearing the angel's direct promise to help them reach Sequence 4, how could they not be overjoyed?
"This time, I can't stay long."
Sasrir said calmly, "If you have any questions, ask now."
"Lord Sasrir, may I ask what we should do when we arrive at Konoha?" Mr. A asked quietly, summoning his courage.
Though the "divine oracle" would descend, if they misunderstood its guidance, it would cause trouble. Better to ask clearly in advance.
Uchiha Itachi shared the same concern and nodded vigorously.
"Yes, Lord Sasrir. We're afraid that if we misinterpret the oracle's message, it might delay the Lord's plans."
"It won't happen."
Sasrir answered calmly, "When you arrive at Konoha, you will naturally understand the meaning of the oracle."
Seeing the situation, the two dared not press further and silently lowered their heads.
"Remember, you must reach Konoha as soon as possible."
Sasrir warned again, his words heavy with meaning: "This matter concerns the revival of the 'Lord.' Also, be cautious of the Twilight Hermit Order—they will appear as well."
"Yes, we will be careful, Lord Sasrir!"
Mr. A and Uchiha Itachi quickly responded.
"Good. Then it's entrusted to you."
A dense shadow rose around Sasrir's body. Under his withered, pitch-black wings, he slowly vanished before their eyes.
The sky, once shrouded in a veil of shadows, suddenly cleared.
But the crowd of believers kneeling below looked confused, as if a large part of their recent 'memory' had been erased.
Konoha.
Twilight Hermit Order.
Mr. A's eyes flashed fiercely. The time had come to settle all the scores accumulated over the years!
Beside him, Uchiha Itachi licked his lips, a sick smile spreading across his face.
"Sasuke… hehehe, I wonder how that kid is after all these years. And Shisui—I truly miss you both."
Both of them carried different thoughts, but they were filled with longing for their trip to Konoha.
The missing Sasrir was, of course, Uchiha Sogetsu in disguise.
Using the identity of the Dark Angel Sasrir wasn't just to fool the Aurora Order, but to create a real presence through that "identity."
The Beyonder ability of the Sequence Three Dreamweaver was to separate identities they once had and make them into living, breathing people.
Moreover, even if these separated personalities died, it would not affect or cause the death of the original self.
As a wave of illusory spiritual energy rippled, a figure separated from inside Uchiha Sogetsu's body.
It had the appearance of the Dark Angel Sasrir — eyes as black as shadows, covered in darkness, and behind him, thick shadow wings spread like feathers, exuding an ominous aura of corruption.
"From now on, you are the Dark Angel, Sasrir."
Uchiha Sogetsu smiled at the figure and said, "The Aurora Order will rely on you a lot."
"You and I are one. No need for such formalities."
The Dark Angel Sasrir's personality carried a hint of coldness as he nodded slightly.
"I will quickly help Uchiha Itachi advance. Right now, the only thing missing is 'uniqueness.'"
"Don't worry about the 'uniqueness' problem."
Uchiha Sogetsu smiled, "Once I absorb the Sequence One characteristics of the Hanged Man path, uniqueness will naturally come."
That's right — he meant the system task, a side mission issued when the Aurora Order was first founded.
By absorbing the Sequence One characteristics of the Hanged Man path, one can directly gain the "uniqueness" of that path.
"Understood."
Sasrir nodded and didn't ask for more details.
