Chapter 527 - Chapter 470.2 : Hall of Truth!!

"Whose voice is that?"

Obito was stunned when another familiar voice echoed through the hall.

"Wait, that's my own voice?" Though his mouth was tightly shut, his voice still echoed through the hall, repeating the fleeting thought in his mind.

"I see. This hall can listen to our thoughts, then project them around, even manifest them." White Zetsu, as a Beyonder of Spectator Pathway, quickly understood and revealed the secret of this hall.

"It can display real thoughts?"

Obito was shocked and quickly tried to control his scattered thoughts, struggling to focus.

"Don't worry too much." White Zetsu glanced at him and slowly said, "If you focus your mind and attention, you'll naturally control your thoughts. It won't pry into your heart."

White Zetsu was quite familiar with this. After a few tries, he could skillfully control the thoughts in his mind.

Obito was clearly more troubled. His control over the mind was far weaker, and the chaotic thoughts around him still echoed loudly.

The two glanced at the nearby mural. The earlier parts were rather dull and tedious, offering little value.

However, one similarity remained: in each mural, the main character held a book bound in sheepskin, with a dark brown cover.

The name on its surface changed countless times, passing from person to person, but eventually it landed in the hands of a young man with light golden curls and an elegant demeanor.

"Adam! The Groselle's Travels!"

A name echoed through the hall.

Obviously, the book with the ever-changing title on the mural was the 'Groselle's Travels,' and the refined young man with the golden curls was 'Adam.'

White Zetsu and Obito exchanged a glance, their hearts trembling.

After Adam obtained the 'Groselle's Travels,' the content of the next mural became extremely blurry, almost impossible to make out.

"It must have been erased by Adam," White Zetsu frowned and continued reading.

Behind the giant pillar of the 'Dragon of Imagination' Ankewelt's throne was the final mural.

Its content was truly chilling.

The book 'Groselle's Travels' met with a classical feather quill.

Then, a majestic dragon outlined by mysterious runes appeared, as if soaring above the clouds.

Its figure, radiating immense power through the mural, was enough to strike fear into anyone's heart.

"That's it, that's it! This must be the ritual!"

White Zetsu shouted excitedly, staring at the mural.

"Do you see? Once you gather the 'Feather Quill' and the 'Groselle's Travels,' you can advance to Sequence Zero!"

"It probably isn't that simple," Obito frowned deeply and voiced his doubt.

"As far as I know, the ascension ritual to godhood isn't that easy."

"You make a good point. So this is very likely the way to inherit the legacy!"

White Zetsu was completely consumed by the passionate thoughts flooding his mind, ignoring the unreasonable parts entirely.

Looking at White Zetsu's eyes filled with fanaticism, Obito opened his mouth but ultimately said nothing.

Although they were partners, they weren't that close. Some things didn't need to be explained too clearly, right?

"Have you seen that feather quill?" Obito asked.

"No, but I'm sure it's definitely in Adam's hands," White Zetsu said confidently.

"This should be the deepest part. Can we find Adam?" Obito didn't care much about the "Dragon of Imagination." He was more concerned about where exactly Adam was.

"Wait a moment."

White Zetsu calmed himself. Ripples shimmered in his pupils, then inexplicably stirred waves throughout the hall.

Like tangible waves of the mind, the ripples soon spread across the entire hall.

"Found it!"

White Zetsu's eyes lit up as he strode toward the suspected "Dragon of Imagination," Ankewelte's seat.

Behind the huge broken stone pillar was a dark passage leading downward.

At the deepest point of the passage stood an ancient bronze door that opened in two halves.

Countless indescribable symbols covered it, like chains extending far behind it, as if sealing something inside, giving off an overwhelmingly heavy and mysterious aura.

Almost simultaneously, White Zetsu and Obito's gazes seemed to pierce through the bronze door, seeing the deep darkness within.

Immediately after, they heard the sound of their own heartbeats!

Thump!

Thump!

Strong and wild heartbeats echoed throughout the entire hall.

In the depths of the unknown, the two suddenly felt a strange chill, as if every cell in their bodies had gained self-awareness, wanting to form another 'self.'

Behind the bronze gate in the illusory vision, a deep darkness stirred, and an 'eye' opened!

Its pupil was pitch black, covered with faint blue cracks.

Then, one by one, countless identical eyes opened within the darkness behind the bronze gate, dense and countless, sending a shiver down the spine as they coldly stared at them.

At that moment, White Zetsu and Obito seemed to hear a silent call.

The voice was irresistibly compelling, like a tremor deep in their souls, causing their eyes to gradually grow vacant, and their stiff steps moved like puppets toward the bronze gate.

The two disappeared into the depths behind the bronze door.

The 'connection' residing deep within White Zetsu's island of consciousness seemed forcibly blocked by some higher-level power.

At the City of Miracles, Liveseyd, Uchiha Sogetsu was distractedly suppressing the 'Quill of Alzuhod,' gazing at the palace where the ancient god once lived, sighing softly, "As expected, it's not as simple as we imagined. Although it has fallen, it was once a 'true god.'"

At first, he planned to send White Zetsu and Obito inside to investigate the truth.

But now it seemed these two were useless—hypnotized just by meeting.

"What troubles me most is that Adam is also inside."

Uchiha Sogetsu furrowed his brows helplessly. "Did he go in willingly, or was he detected by 'Ankewelt' and controlled into entering?"

No one could answer this question.

Logically, Adam should know very well that City of Miracles, Liveseyd from the Groselle's Travels, is the key to Ankewelt's resurrection, so he would never enter easily.

This situation likely means he was forced, with no choice but to enter through that bronze gate.

Buzz buzz buzz.

The struggle of the Quill of Alzuhod grew more intense.

Clearly, the closer to the palace, the more active it became, increasingly wanting to merge with the 'Groselle's Travels.'

"In that case, let's go see for ourselves."

Suppressing the chaotic thoughts, Uchiha Sogetsu gripped the struggling classic quill and boldly stepped toward Ankewelt's palace.

At the same time, his shadow suddenly stretched long, and a silent figure cloaked in yellow robes stood firmly by his side.

He refused to believe that two Sequence-two angels couldn't handle Ankewelt's lingering remnants.

Besides, Adam was outside.

If anything went wrong, they could use a summoning ritual to pull them out immediately!
