Nian Su woke from a nap and remembered his mom being taken by the bad guys, so he clamored for her. Fortunately, Chen Zhi had returned safely, and Mama Zhou let him peek at the sleeping Chen Zhi through the crack of the door, which finally settled him down from crying.
The sky darkened, and soon it reached nighttime. When Chen Zhi woke up, discovering herself in bed at home, thinking back on the day's events made her feel a bit dazed.
