After a moment of shock, Jin Yan quickly recovered as usual.
She smiled, but the smile didn't reach her eyes, "I'm really sorry, I didn't know you were here. I must be interrupting!"
After speaking, she prepared to leave, but was stopped by Tao Siran: "Why, pretending not to know me anymore."
His words carried a hint of self-mockery, as he extinguished the cigarette he had just lit.
Jin Yan chuckled, not feeling guilty at all: "What do you mean pretend not to know? Didn't we meet at the wedding last time?"
Tao Siran's gaze was inscrutable, his face clouded over.
All those years he couldn't forget, sleepless nights, restless days. If it weren't for the hope of meeting her again, he would have long since surrendered to fate.
But she goes on so casually, asking who he was, and then saying they had just met.
"You, you're truly a heartless woman!"
Jin Yan laughed.
She was heartless, but did he have a heart?
