The car was very quiet, both of them silent. They had agreed to talk, but once seated, neither spoke.
Jin Yan checked her watch, time was about up. She glanced at Wu Yunna and teased, "My son is coming down soon. I think our silent conversation is about to wrap up."
"Your son..." Wu Yunna smiled, fiddled with her nails, and said blandly, "As far as I know, you're still single online, a pretty vase of a star. Where did this son come from? Who's his father?"
Jin Yan looked at her and asked lightly, "Why? Concerned about me?"
"No!" Wu Yunna shook her head, "I care more about stray cats and dogs than about you. To me, you're just a stranger now."
"Then why should I tell you?" Jin Yan shrugged her shoulders and raised her eyebrows again.
"You tell me you have a son but refuse to say who the father is. You're so blatant. Aren't you worried that I'd expose the fact that you have a son online?" Wu Yunna said.
Both were calm, yet the air was filled with tension.
