"Get lost!" Jessica pushed Will away forcefully, "Aren't you supposed to be discharged from the hospital? Why are you chasing me? Go take care of your discharge procedures!"
Clearly, his wound hadn't even had the stitches removed yet, and he was already eager to be discharged. No matter how she tried to persuade him, he wouldn't listen. He even quietly went to find a doctor to handle his discharge papers. She had only gone out to buy some fruit, and he had already changed clothes and was ready to leave. How could Jessica not be angry?
Wasn't he supposed to be discharged? Why was he chasing her now?
"Ah!"
Will fell against the railing nearby, letting out a scream of pain.
Hearing his cry, Jessica's heart tightened. She quickly turned around and rushed over, holding onto his arm.
"What happened? Did you hit your wound..."
Before she could finish speaking, the man had already grasped her wrist. She looked up in confusion, only to see Will's triumphant smile.
