Gabriel and Elena stared at the ceiling trying to catch their breath. He'd just given her the wildest love making she'd ever experienced since they got married.
She turned and rested her head on his chest. His heart was still calm despite his rapid chest movements. Compared to her stallion one, his was as still as the deepest waters.
"I want this to last forever," she stated, her fingers circling around his chest.
Gabriel's gaze remained fixated on the ceiling. When he came here, to her room, he had one mission in mind. Wonderful memories was not an end result of this suicide mission, maybe bitter sweet memories.
"I wish that were true," he said without looking at her.
Elena craned her neck to look at him. His face was unreadable, like an enigma she could could not decipher all of a sudden. Why was he like this? One moment he was this lovable husband and the next, he was as cold and distant as winter.
