Jon sat down beside her, proudly saying, "Now you finally can't bear to let me go? Had I known, you should have treated me so well these past few days. When I'm gone, let's see who you'll be nice to."
Indeed, had she known he was her son, she would have treated him very, very well.
"When my son comes back, I'll be nice to my son," Ye Anqi deliberately said.
Jon couldn't help but ask, "How nice will you be to him?"
Ye Anqi laughed, "I'll cook him the food he likes, play games with him, study with him, do everything he enjoys."
"Didn't you complain I'm like a little Emperor? Aren't you afraid your son will become one too?"
"My son is so smart, he'll surely do only the right things."
"Are you saying I'm not as smart as your son?"
Ye Anqi tousled his hair, "You're smart too, maybe just as smart as my son."
Pleased with the compliment, Jon felt satisfied.
