Looking at the breakfast on the table, he expressed a bit of disdain: "Is this what you usually eat?"
Ye Anqi took a sip of porridge, "What do you eat then?"
"I eat a lot, do you have fresh goat milk?"
"No."
"Cow's milk will do."
"No."
"Then mutton jelly."
Ye Anqi didn't think that what he meant by mutton jelly was made from grains; it must be real mutton jelly made with lamb.
"No."
"Then what is there?"
Ye Anqi replied blandly, "If you can't see, whatever's on the table is what there is."
Jon paused, grabbed a piece of bread and took a bite, "I hate bread."
After taking a bite, he tossed it aside, then picked up a bun and took a bite.
"I also hate buns." The bun was discarded as well.
Then he went on to drink the porridge, "This is awful too."
It left the fried egg.
He cut a piece, chewed and gagged, "Not tender enough, awful."
Finally, he took a sip of milk, "Not fresh, awful."
Ye Anqi and all the servants collectively gave him a look of disdain.
