Chapter One Hundred Eighty-Three:
"The birth of twins was the curse given by Khawar before our father finally returned him to nothingness. That was the history about Shirina and Hunapo. And to balance everything, Goddess Vive was born to give the judgement the evil darkness deserve. The reason why, she was born just for Khawar, to stop him to destroy everything our father made."
The King of Hell ends his story and for some reason, what he told me was not enough to calm me down so I decided.
"Let's go! I want to go to my husband." I quicky decided.
"Why? Do you have no intention of taking Manu's soul?" The King of Hell asked.
"It's important to me that I get Manu's soul but it's more important now that the life I could lose if I don't go to him. So, I decided to go to my husband."
"For one life exchange for a thousand lives," he answered. "Are you really sure you want that to happen?"
"What do you mean?"
"You know clearly what I mean, my Lady." He answered. "Because no matter what you do, Kanik is still in the world of the living that can explode at any time and completely destroy everything. So, I will ask you again. Are you sure you want to go back without the soul of Manu?"
…
Earth of the Living
I screamed in pain when he suddenly squeezes the wound he inflicted just now and because he was too strong, I can't counter him no matter what spell or power I used.
"As nginti om ab wagagama ngom sakbagi nga kinga onnongipa?!" He furiously exclaimed as he continues squeezing my wound that screamed me out loud.
"Dimittis!" suddenly Kanik came and quickly saves me. "Aella, are you alright?" He worriedly asked me.
"I… I am fine." I answered between my breaths.
"Ozul, what do you think you were doing?!" Kanik madly asked his shadow minion.
"She's a traitor, my Lord!" Ozul answered.
"What are you talking about?!"
"Because she intends to––"
"Relegare!" I immediately dismiss him before he could finish his words.
"What?" Kanik looks at me with questions into his eyes.
"I'll… explain later. Right now, we need to go before he comes back." I insisted.
It took him a while before he finally agreed. "Alright, let's go!"
…
Underworld
I could not answer what the King of Hell said and I couldn't deny that I had forgotten about Kanik.
"What? You already forgot about Kanik, right?" The King of Hell asked that cuts off my thoughts.
"Yes." I admitted my fault.
"So, will you go or will you stay?"
"Shu?" Rishna and Navina called on me when I suddenly freeze because of the decision I have to make.
I turned to look at the screen that looks like a television, where I can see Haimon, but because of the smoke that surrounds the whole environment we could not see anything. I don't know what to do or to think right at this moment but I feel so much concern for Haimon. And at the same time, I want to save and bring back Manu's soul.
"Do I have to ask what your decision is?" The King of Hell asked me as if he already knew my decision.
"Noa ngab lakbanabi om?" Navina finally speaks up and she is already annoyed by the King of Hell.
"Calm down my Lady." He replied. "And I'll tell you Lady Shu, Haimon is safe so you don't have to worry."
"Really?!" I hurriedly asked him.
The King of Hell laughs before he answered. "You will see."
…
With so much force that Khawar rushed at us almost destroyed the land we had been standing on lately.
"Are you all fine?" Goddess Vive asked us.
"Yes, we are all fine." Ansel answered.
And just now, I saw that we're riding on a legendary big bird. I don't know what the name of this bird is but I'm sure it's from the underworld.
"Harpy." Suddenly Goddess Vive answered my question in mind.
"Huh?"
"A half-human and half-bird personification of storm winds, a guardian of the underworld." Galdur explained.
And that was the only time I saw the whole bird and Galdur was right, the bird was half-human and half-bird. Though, that's not what matters now because we have something more important to focus on.
"Alright. What should we do now?" I asked.
"I'll take care of Khawar." Goddess Vive answered.
"Are you sure you about that?" Ansel asked.
"Of course, during the years I have been waiting for his return I have prepared so much so I can fully fight him." She confidently answered but to our surprised I was suddenly caught up by something and before everyone can react, I'm already dragged away from them.
…
Hell Palace
I can clearly see that they are safe and they are now riding a big bird with half-human and half-bird.
"Now, you've seen it, let's go to our topic." The King of Hell said before cutting of the scene.
"What are you doing?" I surprisingly asked him.
"You just want to know if your husband is safe so now that you've seen it, I think we really should do what you came here for."
Rishna sighed. "He was right, Shu." She spoke. "We need to get Manu's soul. So don't think about Haimon because I'm sure the reason why he hides the truth from you because, your reaction will be like that. And that's what he doesn't want to happen. So, please focus on what you should really do and safe not only your husband but the entire human race."
Rishna was right and I can't deny that I already thought about Haimon's decision and I already understand it so, now, I really need to get Manu's soul as soon as possible.
"That's a wonderful speech, Lady Rishna." The King of Hell answered. "Anyway, we do have a problem." He added that surprised us.
"What?" Rishna asked.
"You're not a maiden."
What he answered surprised me.
