Alex quickly placed his hand over Lumi's mouth. "Shush," he said with a slight grin, cutting her off before she revealed too much.
Bella closed her eyes, letting out a small sigh. "I just woke up at that time... seeing I was tied up. I was still tired, so I just asked a bunch of questions—why, where, how I ended up there... and then you came in, falling from the ceiling, destroying the whole underground ceiling."
Alex chuckled, recalling the chaotic scene. "I guess that's one way to make an entrance." He leaned back in his seat, glancing at the villagers still gathering water. "Glad I could make things more interesting."
Bella opened her eyes and gave him a faint smile. "Well, that's cool. Guess you've been seen by a lot of people."
The village leader returned, a grin on his face as he approached Alex. "Lord Alex, I have a prize for you," he said eagerly.
Alex raised an eyebrow, shaking his head slightly. "You really don't have to do that. I'm just helping out."
