Christian George, the spear wielder of the group, faced off against a Thornspike—a formidable monster covered in jagged, thorn-like protrusions along its back.
'This should be easy. I've already hunted two of these on Luama Island,' I thought confidently.

Thornspike
Difficulty: Standard Grade 1
Form: A monstrous, heavily armored creature that resembles a cross between an armadillo and a porcupine. It stands about 12 feet tall on four sturdy, clawed legs and is covered in a dense, metallic exoskeleton adorned with razor-sharp spikes. Its elongated, serpentine neck supports a menacing head with glowing red eyes and a gaping maw filled with rows of jagged teeth. Its tail, long and whip-like, is also covered in spikes and ends in a deadly, spiked club.
