Chapter 8 - cute little Pussy cat fall into the drainage

"I just saw a cute little Pussy cat fall into the drainage. As a kind-hearted guy, how could I let it die there? So I jumped in and rescued it. Alright, I need to wash up. Wait in the main hall, I'll come back after cleaning myself." Without looking back, Chaithanya finished speaking and walked toward his bedroom.

Xiuying, however, felt indignant and ground her pearl-like teeth angrily. "What the hell does he mean by pussy cat? This bastard."

She stomped her feet, strode to the main hall, and sat on the sofa with her arms folded.

Chaithanya took a whole hour to scrub away the black substance clinging to his body. By the time he was done, Xiuying, who had been waiting in the hall, was nearly dozing off. Freshly bathed, he stepped out of the restroom and moved close to the mirror, wiping himself with a towel. But the moment he saw his reflection, it felt like lightning had struck him. He… he had become even more beautiful than before.

"Damn it… damn it…" Chaithanya cursed angrily, touching his face. With his current looks, he was truly worthy of being called a "milk boy."

"So what if I'm beautiful? At least I'll look different from those flower boys. With my increasing muscle density, I'll train myself to death." He declared loudly, puffing out his skinny chest with pride.

After dressing up, he covered his face with a mask, walked to the main hall, and sat opposite Xiuying. "Xiuying, speak."

"Before I answer you, answer me first. Why are you wearing a mask inside the mansion? I'm your secretary, why are you hiding your face from me?" Xiuying asked, rolling her eyes.

"Well, I'm afraid you'll want to give me a baby the moment you see my face," Chaithanya teased.

"Hmph, I don't even bat an eyelid at S-list actors. Give you a baby? You're daydreaming," Xiuying scoffed, her gaze condescending.

"Well, since you say so, get ready." Chaithanya smiled and removed his mask.

Xiuying froze on the spot, words stuck in her throat. She was utterly transfixed, mesmerized by his face, her eyes filling with love-struck symbols.

"I want to have a baby with you, Big Bro Junhao!" she blurted out excitedly.

Chaithanya raised his hand and lightly flicked her forehead with the back of his finger.

"Ouch!" She snapped back to her senses, clutching her forehead. Realizing what she had just said, her face turned as red as an apple. She wanted to dig a hole and crawl in to bury her embarrassment.

At that moment, a loud horn sounded outside and the gates creaked open. Seizing the godsend distraction, Xiuying's eyes lit up. "The delivery is here. Let's go out and take it."

Not wanting to embarrass her further, Chaithanya headed for the main gate, followed closely by the crimson-faced Xiuying.

At the gate…

"It's A-list actor Junhao!" exclaimed one of the delivery boys.

"Come on, don't just stand there. Let's get his autograph," another said.

They quickly pulled out sheets of paper and rushed to him. Chaithanya greeted them politely, then asked the security guards to bring his posters. Instead of signing plain sheets, he signed his posters and handed them to the boys.

Moved by his kindness, the delivery boys unloaded all the equipment and neatly arranged it in the garage without charging extra. For ordinary men, politeness often invites bullying. But when a celebrity shows the same humility, people treat him with respect and reverence, almost like a sage.

Even though they didn't ask for extra pay, Chaithanya still gave each of them 500 RMB. The boys were moved to tears, thanking him repeatedly before Xiuying settled the payment and they drove away.

Turning to her, Chaithanya said casually, "Rebuild that garage into a gym hall for me. I don't care about the cost—quality is what matters. If you need anything else, call me anytime."

"Do you think I'm your servant or your secretary? What the heck is wrong with you, ordering me around?" Xiuying grumbled inwardly, but outwardly, she only nodded and busied herself with the new task.

Chaithanya changed into sports shorts, a T-shirt, and shoes, then headed toward the gate.

"Sir, since you're going alone, we'll follow you," one of the guards said.

"No, that won't do. Nothing will happen to me. Stay here and take care of the mansion," Chaithanya replied calmly.

"But sir…" one of them began, only for Chaithanya to cut him off. "What did I say? You don't want to listen to me anymore?"

"We'll stay here and look after the mansion," all the guards answered in unison, panicked.

"Good." Chaithanya nodded and walked out of the mansion.

Eager to test the limits of his body, he broke into a run the moment he stepped outside the gate. His speed was astonishing—within seconds he had grown accustomed to it and began overtaking every vehicle on the road. To others, he appeared only as a fleeting shadow passing their cars. People thought they were hallucinating and quickly dismissed it from their minds.

Lost in his speed, Chaithanya didn't realize how far he had run. Soon he found himself deep in a forest, standing atop a hill. "Damn it, no signal?" he cursed, glaring at his phone. Stranded with no way back and exhausted, he sat down in a yoga pose and began absorbing spiritual energy from the surroundings to replenish himself.

Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Xiuying had brought in the renovation team and assigned them tasks. Afterward, she looked around for Chaithanya but couldn't find him anywhere. She dialed his number repeatedly, only to hear the same response: "The person you are calling is not in the coverage area."

"What the heck? Where did you go? Why aren't you in the signal coverage area?" Xiuying muttered, rubbing her forehead helplessly.

Finally, she called the security team, and the line connected. "Where are you? Are you with Mr. Junhao?"

"No, ma'am. He didn't want us to follow, so we stayed behind," one of the guards replied.

"How could you let him go alone? Security should always follow when he leaves the mansion. Did he at least tell you where he was going?" Xiuying demanded.

"We don't know. He only said he was going for a walk and would be back soon," the guard explained.

"Hmm, okay." She disconnected the call.

"Walk? What the hell does he mean by walking? Damn him, always causing me trouble," Xiuying muttered, rolling her eyes in exasperation.
