The reading didn't even look right. They were all Rune Masters, and their processing speeds left most in the dust. However, even they felt like their sight must have made some sort of mistake.
They cross-referenced with their memories, trying to see what must have gone wrong, what problems could have possibly been triggered. And yet, no matter what they did, they couldn't find anything wrong.
Defeating the previous records was one thing. They were hardly related to Rune Mastery and were mostly a product of one's Unique Genes. What methods one had of drawing Runes faster was usually a measure of auxiliary Rune Master abilities rather than one's raw abilities.
