(LEO POV)

Leo was feeling very mixed emotions at that moment. On the one hand, his new pokemon had become its own unique legend and started a new species.

On the other hand, the system that had ignored Leo for the past 10 years had finally activated. Only for Leo to find out that his system had suddenly changed.

For a moment Leo was frozen in shock. The Alpha assumed the evolution of her daughter into a legendary was out of his expectations.

Honestly, Leo was certain that his blood could have triggered an even greater transformation. The real limiting factor was the level of this Reality.

Even with a Transcendent factor, nothing could change the inherently inferior quality Origins of this Realities denizens.

If it weren't for the unique circumstances, Leo would be concerned about future potential. Shaking off the useless thoughts, Leo turned to address the Alpha fox.

"Her new species name should be called Kitsfrost. I can tell you that her typings have changed. She now has what I will call the stellar type." Leo spoke in a satisfied tone.

"What is this Stellar type supposed to be? Are you saying that she has created a brand-new type???" The Alpha spoke with a reverent yet disbelieving tone.

Her eyes widened, space itself shuddering under the weight of her fluctuating emotions. Leo found it almost cute how easily surprised this Goddess among pokemon was.

Shaking his head to get rid of the inappropriate thoughts, Leo began to explain.

"It's more like a combination of Fire, Ice and Fairy type energy that has formed its own unique harmony. To be honest I am not sure if this change will be passed down or if it's truly a unique ability."

Leo scratched his chin in thought as he spoke. His shades, hanging high in the air up until that moment, were finally released from their frozen prison.

They dropped from the sky to land perfectly on his face. Closer inspection revealed that the sides of the frames now had a crimson snowflake engraving that seemed to sparkle in the unnatural light.

For the Alpha, seeing the nonchalant demeanor of the child in front of her gave her a pause for a moment.

She was conflicted, knowing that the legends were playing a dangerous game. Introducing variables like the child before her as a catalyst for the natives' growth.

Witnessing the casual way Leo rewrote what was possible for her daughter shocked the Alpha. But thinking deeper, this leader of the Fairy Types was horrified.

She could imagine the terrible conflicts, beings never seen before destroying countless years of peace. She knew there was no avoiding what was to come.

Watching the rapidly growing bond between Leo and her daughter gave her clarity. Taking a deep breath, the Alpha gave Leo a deeply appraising look.

Leo was brought out of his wayward thoughts by the subtle weight of the Alpha's gaze. "uhhm..." He cleared his throat, internally grateful that he didn't fluster easily.

"In any case, I can promise that I will do my best to raise Kitsfrost to be a Legend worthy of her bloodline." Leo placed his hand over his heart, swearing to treat this new family member well.

While there were still many mysteries for him to solve, he couldn't complain. Leo was certain that his bloodline would not steer him wrong.

He knew that some of his decisions could cause increased tension or hostility, but he wouldn't be a Viltre if he didn't shake things up wherever he went.

As if reading his mind, Alpha sighed and waved a paw. Instantly, over a dozen pokemon appeared. The previously empty white space was briefly overcome by the flashing auras of multiple legend level pokemon.

The Alpha waited for the pokemon to settle down before she spoke. "Greetings to all the gathered ambassadors. This noble one has called you here to celebrate!"

At that, the gathered Fairies all exchanged glances, wondering what good news could have caused their queen to convene them all immediately.

"This noble one's daughter has found her destined trainer, and he has shown this one a path our kind have been unable to bring into being ourselves."

The Alpha, as Leo was belatedly beginning to realize, was a much more important figure than he had first imagined swept an impossibly long tail in front of herself.

A screen, made of sparkling Ice and Fairy TE formed above the ambassadors. It showed in perfect clarity the entire process of Leo arriving and forming a bond with Kitsfrost.

A sylveon with a crown made of miniature moons gasped in disbelief. "To think! A mere drop of essence blood allowed her to not only stabilize her core but also pushed her to become a true LEGEND..."

Another pokemon, this one strangely covered in a giant pink sheet that rippled like a wave projected its analysis.

"This changes everything!! Imagine what new species and variants could come into existence just based off the princess's new bloodline."

Before the situation could get out of hand, a cold breeze swept past. All sound stopped, the excited pokemon suddenly paused, the scene looking like a frozen image.

With casual authority shining through its voice, the Alpha spoke again. "This one does not care to hear your babbling. This meeting is simply to inform you all.

Now that you know my daughter has evolved and found her destined one, the last announcement is simple.

Effective immediately, Leon Viltre is now the successor to the Fairy Court. Pass down the decree.

Anyone who doesn't acknowledge this no longer needs to consider themselves as one of ours. Times are changing; this one knows not what the future holds.

But only by taking every advantage and embracing the change will we overcome. The esteemed Leon was brought our way by fate, and this one will not refuse it."

Leo kept his expression neutral, doing his best to prevent his energy from fluctuating and giving anything away.

Leo had felt suspicious that something like this might happen. After all, it wasn't any random creature that could make his bloodline form a connection.

In any case, Leo could only hope that this didn't cause too many problems with the Dragon clan. Knowing his luck, Leo could only sigh praying for his future self.

Watching the pokemon swiftly agree and turn to enact the Alpha's will, Leo already knew he would have to show a bit more of his hand than he had wanted to this early.

Seemingly satisfied with the results, the Alpha turned its attention back to Leo and the freshly evolved Kitsfrost.

Leo idly ran his hand through her silver fur, wondering if it would be rude to show up to the Dragon's Den with what was essentially Fairy Royalty.

Sensing his thoughts, Kitsfrost nuzzled her human's side, sending a burst of emotion that warmed his heart.

"I do apologize for doing that without asking your opinion. Running into you and seeing how much you've already done for my daughter gave me the idea."

The Alpha spoke up then; her tone no longer sounding like a queen ordering her subordinates.

Instead, she seemed more like a mother excited to plan her child's first play date. Leo sighed, giving the subtly fidgeting Alpha a resigned smile.

"I do appreciate what you're doing. I only hope this doesn't complicate whatever agreement my parents came to with the Dragon's Den..."

Leo closed his eyes, thinking about the chaos that would surely erupt. If only he had access to his Grimoire, he could strategize better.

Hearing that his parents had already formed a pact with her enemies made the Alpha want to lash out instinctively. Thinking deeper, she realized this could work in her favor.

With a vulpine smile spreading across her face, the Alpha decided on one more course of action.

"Little Leo, I have an idea that I think would help both of us." Leo looked up at that. He noticed the unsettling grin, and Leo could feel the kindred spirit of a prankster.

After a short conversation, Leo was about to head back to the 'Reception' area he had vanished from. Kitsfrost stood next to him with disdain obvious in her crimson eyes.

He could feel his own feral grin starting to form. While he wasn't the type to pursue chaos normally, unique problems required unique solutions.

Looking at the old wooden door slowly forming in front of him, Leo knew he was going off script, and he couldn't have been more excited.
