The massive Sea Kings are nothing more than moving mountains of meat for the top players in the pirate world.
The giant warriors, Blue Ogre Dorry and Red Ogre Brogy, can easily defeat huge monsters like the Island-Eating Goldfish.
For a strong fighter above the level of a Vice Admiral at Navy Headquarters, killing an average-sized Sea King is not a challenge.
However, among the pirate ships and criminal merchant ships, how many strong individuals are there who can defeat even an average-sized Sea King?
What's even harder than killing Sea Kings in the deep sea is protecting the ships themselves while navigating through it.
The deep sea is a dangerous and forbidden place for humans.
The threat from the Sea Kings in the deep sea is incredibly large.
With the help of countless Sea Kings, Nami and Fizz successfully blocked the Fish-Man Island route.
Many pirate ships and merchant ships tried to resist but were sunk in the deep sea. Most ships, however, paid large tolls to safely pass.
Yet, the surrender of those pirate ships and merchant ships didn't mean complete victory for Fish-Man Island.
A massive undercurrent is rising from Fish-Man Island and spreading rapidly across the entire world.
The Ryugu Kingdom, with the power to completely block the Fish-Man Island route at any time, poses a huge threat to the Four Emperors and the Dark Emperors of the pirate world.
Many illegal transactions by the kings of the Dark World rely on the Fish-Man Island route.
If the Fish-Man Island route is blocked, the Four Emperors' group in the New World will gradually lose access to fresh supplies and slowly weaken.
At the same time, they will have trouble projecting their power from the New World to the first half of the Grand Line, or even to the whole world.
In other words, if Nami and her allies completely block the Fish-Man Island route, the Four Emperors could find themselves unable to return to the first half of the Grand Line.
If they were ambushed by Nami or Fizz, even a powerful group like the Four Emperors could be wiped out in the deep sea.
Unless the Four Emperors avoid sending large forces back to the first half of the Grand Line, they would be risking complete destruction.
Whoever controls the route to Fish-Man Island controls the lifeline of the Dark Emperors and even the Four Emperors of the New World.
However, it was not the Dark World Emperors who were the first to react to Nami and her allies blocking the Fish-Man Island route.
It was the Five Elders in the Holy Land of Mary Geoise!
"Those despicable Fish-Men actually dare to block the route to Fish-Man Island?"
"Are they trying to completely disrupt the balance of the seas?"
The blonde Five Elders roared in anger.
Once Fish-Man Island completely blocks the route between the first half of the Grand Line and the New World, some World Government member countries and ordinary people may cheer.
They no longer have to worry about the threat of New World pirates.
However, a completely blocked Fish-Man Island route will force most pirates to stay in the first half of the Grand Line or the four seas.
Since they can't reach the New World, it might seem better to stay in the Four Seas instead!
Without the New World route, the survival of the fittest would reduce the number of pirate groups, and many pirates would be stranded.
This would only make the foundation of the World Government—and the entire ocean—more chaotic.
Without new pirates entering the New World, the Four Emperors will gradually lose power, and the balance between the World Government and the pirate factions will fall apart.
The Five Elders and the World Government never wanted to completely wipe out the New World's great pirates.
Without pirates, it would be harder for World Government member countries to justify spending money and resources.
"Don't worry, they haven't completely blocked the Fish-Man Island route yet," one of the Five Elders said, trying to calm the others.
"I just want to make a lot of money through the Fish-Man Island route!"
"The balance of the world hasn't completely broken yet," he added, squinting his eyes.
The Bearded Five Elder continued, "The Fish-Man who can summon countless Sea Kings is our real problem."
"The prophesied era is coming, and will the legendary Poseidon appear with it?"
After the Bearded Five Elder finished speaking, the other Five Elders became serious.
If blocking the Fish-Man Island route by Nami and Fitz only disturbs the balance of the sea, then the rise of the Ancient Weapon Poseidon could directly threaten the World Government's power.
"Poseidon's appearance must be reported to Lord Im immediately," one of the Five Elders said. "The Poseidon of the past never disturbed the order of God, and the Poseidon of today cannot challenge God!"
"God's order will last forever!"
The somewhat bald Five Elder said this with intense fanaticism.
The Ancient Weapon Poseidon, able to summon and control countless Sea Kings, is indeed terrifying.
But since the Sea Kings can't fly, they don't pose much of a threat to Uranus or the Celestial Dragons.
The Holy Land of Mary Geoise is located on the towering Red Line.
After the bald Five Elder finished speaking, the other Five Elders nodded. They can make decisions on regular matters without much concern.
But when it comes to something as powerful as the Ancient Weapon Poseidon, which can challenge the very order of the world, the matter must be taken to the true ruler of the World Government and the entire pirate world—Im-sama.
"The Supreme Lord," one of the Five Elders said.
"The lights that should have disappeared from history have reappeared."
"Does this world need to be cleansed again?"
Deep within Pangu City, Lord Im sat high upon the Void Throne, while the Five Elders knelt before her in great respect.
Lord Im, looking detached as always, held a photo of the fish-man Fitz in her hand, her face expressionless. A trace of doubt flickered across her eyes.
"Isn't Poseidon supposed to be a mermaid princess?" she murmured.
"Why a lowly fish-man?"
The true identity of the Ancient Weapon Poseidon, and the predicted era that Gol D. Roger and Tianyue Shi had awaited, were not big secrets to Lord Im.
The forbidden texts of the past are unclear to most in the pirate world today, but for Lord Im, those texts were merely her history.
Lord Im was slightly puzzled by Fitz's existence.
But soon, the powerful ruler coldly ripped the photo of Fitz into pieces.
It didn't matter if Fitz, the Tidal Sea Spirit, was truly the new Poseidon. As long as Fitz could summon and control the Sea Kings, death awaited him.
Lord Im would never allow any power that could threaten the established order to survive.
As Lord Im tore up Fitz's photo, the Five Elders understood.
It was time to deal with Fish-Man Island and the fish-man who might be Poseidon.
The biggest weakness of Ancient Weapon Poseidon is Poseidon himself.
But the real question now was how to deal with Fitz, who was protected by the fearsome Deep Sea Queen, able to control the sea and summon countless Sea Kings for protection.
The Five Elders frowned, thinking deeply. Then one of them had an idea.
In the deep sea, Nami and Fitz might be difficult to deal with. But what about on land?
