Chapter 232 - Chapter 232

"Oh, what are you going to do?" Ye Feng asked.

"If it were according to my previous personality, I would definitely arrest them. But now, I want to hear your opinion," Qian Renxue said.

"Then catch him," Ye Feng replied.

"Catch him?" Qian Renxue looked at Ye Feng in surprise.

"Yes. Capture the youngest sailor for me." Ye Feng raised his voice and pointed at a first mate and the youngest of the six crew members. "What are you waiting for? Capture him for me!"

At Ye Feng's command, Xie Yue, who had obtained the spirit bone earlier, took action first. He flashed beside the young man and placed his Spirit Moon Blade against the latter's neck.

The other crew members looked down at Haider. They were prepared to use their martial spirits to attack Ye Feng and the others as soon as Haider gave the order.

"Spirit King!"

Haider frowned and looked at Xie Yue with fear. He hadn't expected Xie Yue to be a five-ring Spirit King at such a young age. He shook his head at his companions, signaling them not to act rashly. He then stared at Ye Feng seriously and asked, "Sir, don't you think you owe me an explanation?"

"Explanation? What kind of explanation do I need to give you? You're all too agile to be regular sailors. You're clearly spirit masters. Would a true spirit master do the hard labor of sailing? Obviously not. Do you really still need an explanation from me?" Ye Feng asked calmly.

Whoosh—

As Ye Feng finished speaking, the first mate and five crew members summoned their martial spirits. Just as Qian Renxue predicted, they were all sea spirit masters—or rather, pirates.

"What do you want?" Haider stepped forward, and five spirit rings appeared beneath his feet.

"Oh? Are you trying to scare me?" Ye Feng smirked. He took a step forward, and six spirit rings appeared beneath him.

"Spirit Emperor!"

Haider was stunned. He stared at Ye Feng in disbelief. Ye Feng turned out to be a Spirit Emperor, a powerhouse beyond level 60.

Ye Feng smiled faintly. "Everyone, show them your skills."

Oscar laughed. "Haha! You're already trying to scare people with only five spirit rings?"

Four spirit rings appeared beneath Oscar's feet.

Ma Hongjun laughed mockingly. "Isn't it just five spirit rings? Who doesn't have five spirit rings these days?"

Five spirit rings appeared beneath Ma Hongjun's feet.

Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, Ning Rongrong, Meng Yiran, Dugu Yan, and the others all sneered. Four to five spirit rings glowed under their feet.

Haider's eyes were dull. He never imagined that these young men and women were all spirit masters of four, five, or even six rings.

"So, what do you want?" Haider asked, his tone serious.

"I don't want anything. I just want to reach Sea God Island safely. If you dare to attack us, I think you should already know the consequences." Ye Feng cast a glance at the young sailor.

Haider's expression grew stern.

That young sailor was his son. By taking his son hostage, Ye Feng had grabbed his lifeline, making him afraid to act rashly.

"You went to sea just to earn money. As long as you send us to Sea God Island safely, we'll still pay you the reward you deserve," Ye Feng said, mixing firmness with reason, his gaze calm but sharp.

"Can I really trust your words?" Haider questioned.

He was afraid that once they reached Sea God Island, Ye Feng would kill them anyway.

"Do you think you have a choice?" Ye Feng asked with a smile.

Haider's heart trembled.

Indeed, he had no choice.

"Raise the sails and set sail," Haider ordered helplessly.

Under Haider's command, the Sea Devil sailed into the vast ocean.

On the first day, Xiao Wu, Ning Rongrong, and the others were thrilled.

On the second day, people started to get seasick. Qian Renxue, Zhang Ping, and other spirit masters who could fly soared into the air from time to time to ease the nausea.

By the third day, Xiao Wu and the others didn't dare to eat anymore. They leaned over the railing and vomited endlessly.

When the seventh night fell, the first mate and five crew members came to Haider.

"Captain, they've already gone to bed. We might as well do it now. Save your son and kill them!"

"No! They are spirit masters—and very powerful ones at that."

"Captain, how about we poison their food tomorrow? We've done it many times before. There won't be any mistakes this time."

"No! They're too cautious. Especially that Ye Feng and Qian Renxue. They always eat in sequence, and they're clearly experienced. Poisoning them won't work. And don't forget—my son is still in their hands!"

"Captain, this won't work, that won't work. Are we really going to send them to Sea God Island?"

"Sigh..."

Haider sighed helplessly. "It's the only option. If they don't release my son after we reach Sea God Island, we'll ask the spirit masters of Sea God Island to avenge us."

Over the next few days, Haider continued steering the Sea Devil toward Sea God Island. On the seventeenth day, a black dot appeared on the horizon. As the ship moved forward, the black dot grew larger.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we've arrived at Sea God Island."

As Haider spoke, Ye Feng, Xiao Wu, Qian Renxue, and the others walked onto the deck.

"Is that Sea God Island?" Xiao Wu asked excitedly.

"Yes."

Haider nodded. "There used to be many powerful sea spirit beasts around Sea God Island. One of them guards the island. You're lucky—they've gone out hunting. Decades ago, when Spirit Hall attacked Sea God Island, those beasts happened to be away. Otherwise, Spirit Hall wouldn't have landed so easily. I'll take you directly to the port."

"Alright," Ye Feng nodded.

About an hour later, the Sea Devil arrived at Sea God Island. Haider, as promised, brought Ye Feng and the others to a port.

There were one or two ships at the port, loading or unloading cargo.

The sea spirit masters of Sea God Island couldn't leave the island. Some biological materials on the island were traded with the outside world. Every so often, a ship would deliver goods here.

"Get off the boat," Ye Feng ordered.

"What about my son?" Haider stared at Ye Feng.

"Xie Yue," Ye Feng called out.

Xie Yue nodded and released the bound sailor.

Ye Feng tossed a bag of gold spirit coins to Haider, then stepped onto the port with his companions.

"Dad, are we just going to let them go like this?" Haider's son asked, unwilling.

"Don't worry. They're land spirit masters. If I'm right, they might even be from Spirit Hall. Hmph, let the sea spirit masters of Sea God Island deal with them." Haider sneered as he looked at Ye Feng and the others stepping onto the port.
