Chapter 410 - Chapter 410

The space around Xiao Yan cracked and collapsed inch by inch, the fabric of reality unable to withstand the pressure. The mighty Dou Di—a realm once thought untouchable—was struck down by Ye Feng's punch, coughing up blood mid-air.

"H-How is that possible...?" Xiao Yan gasped, eyes wide in disbelief. "I'm already a Dou Emperor… How can I not withstand his attack?"

Ye Feng calmly approached, his presence oppressive. "Xiao Yan, have you never wondered about the nature of my energy?"

"Energy attribute?" Xiao Yan was startled. Now that he focused, the energy surging from Ye Feng was unfamiliar—completely outside the realm of the known.

"My energy attribute is Chaos Force," Ye Feng said coldly. "It is the origin of creation… and the end of destruction. It is the true ultimate energy between heaven and earth."

Xiao Yan frowned. "I don't understand. Are you saying… you're the God of Creation?"

Ye Feng gave a single nod.

"God… Creation… You're… not of this world?" Xiao Yan muttered. Then, as if something clicked, he recited: "Geese, geese, geese… their necks arched toward the sky, white feathers floating on water, red feet paddling the waves…"

"You… You're Chinese!"

Xiao Yan's face turned pale. He looked at Ye Feng as if seeing a ghost.

Ye Feng smiled faintly. "So, you've finally realized who I am. Honestly, you should've noticed sooner. Tell me—what do you make of this sword?"

He raised his hand, and five glowing rings materialized in the air. A sword, invisible yet unmistakably present, took form and began to expand. Xiao Yan's gaze locked onto it. This time, he noticed the patterns etched along its surface.

On one side: the sun, moon, and stars. On the other: mountains, rivers, and plants. The hilt was inscribed with ancient techniques of farming and animal husbandry… and strategies of empire.

"Xuanyuan Sword!" Xiao Yan cried out.

"Xuanyuan Sword?" Medusa repeated, puzzled. "Is that the name of Ye Feng's sword?"

Zi Yan and the others exchanged confused glances. They didn't understand why Xiao Yan suddenly looked as if he'd seen a divine relic.

But Xiao Yan's expression shifted. His eyes sparkled. "Ye Feng… after all this… we're from the same homeland. The grudge between us—it's all a misunderstanding."

Ye Feng raised an eyebrow. "A misunderstanding?"

Still gripping the Xuanyuan Sword, Ye Feng lifted it high.

"You still want to kill me?" Xiao Yan frowned. Despite both being Dou Di, the gap in their strength felt insurmountable.

"If you remain, peace will never return to the Douqi Continent," Ye Feng said flatly.

"No! I swear, I won't bring disaster again! Ye Feng… what do you think of Xun'er?"

"Gu Xun'er?" Ye Feng paused.

Hearing that name, Queen Medusa's heart trembled. From a distance, a purple light streaked across the sky—Xun'er's treasure was on its way.

"I know you love beautiful women. Don't kill me… I'll give Gu Xun'er to you," Xiao Yan said.

Ye Feng narrowed his eyes. "You would trade a woman for your life?"

"You don't understand," Xiao Yan said, gritting his teeth. "If I don't push her away with cruel words, she won't leave me. Ever since I sneaked into her room as a child and used a meridian-warming technique to help her recover, she's had only me in her heart. Even if you kill me, she won't love you—she'll only avenge me."

"You're really willing to let her go?" Ye Feng asked, incredulous.

"I'm no longer a man… nor a woman. My life force is gone. What use is a woman to me? What I need now… is a man," Xiao Yan said solemnly, then quickly changed the subject. "So? Do you accept my terms?"

"Xiao Yan, you bastard! You devoured Yao Chen—and now you want to abandon me?!"

A voice thundered from above. Gu Xun'er descended in a blaze of violet.

"Xun'er?" Xiao Yan stammered.

Ye Feng's eyes widened. "You… devoured Yao Chen?!"

"That old fool got in my way. If not for him, I'd have devoured thousands of bloodlines and reached Dou Di long ago," Xiao Yan said coldly.

"You betrayed your master… and your ancestors," Ye Feng said, his voice low and cold. "There's no redemption for you."

He raised the Xuanyuan Sword—and activated the divine power of his godhead.

The sky darkened. Ten thousand meters above, thunderclouds churned—not black, but gray. A suffocating aura of absolute annihilation radiated from above. Even Queen Medusa and Zi Yan, Dou Sheng-level experts, felt their hearts tremble.

"All of you, retreat ten thousand meters," Ye Feng commanded.

Queen Medusa and the others obeyed instantly, withdrawing from the battlefield.

"Xun'er," Ye Feng said, "under the World-Destroying Divine Punishment, even grass won't survive. Back away."

Gu Xun'er unsheathed her sword, ready to kill Xiao Yan herself. But just as she stepped forward, Gu Yuan appeared, grabbing her wrist.

"Thank you, Chaos Saint," he said to Ye Feng before vanishing with Xun'er in tow.

Xiao Yan looked up. Gray lightning now loomed like the scythe of a reaper.

"This… is divine punishment?" he muttered.

Ye Feng's eyes were cold. "This sword cuts down all beings in the Six Paths. Only those beyond the Six Paths can survive."

"If I must die, I won't go without a fight!" Xiao Yan roared.

With a flick of his hand, five Heavenly Flames ignited, merging into one—becoming a radiant, multicolored embroidery needle.

"Destroy!"

Ye Feng swung the Xuanyuan Sword.

BOOM!

A bolt of gray lightning shot down like divine judgment.

"Go!" Xiao Yan hurled the embroidery needle skyward.

The clash between destruction and flame lit up the heavens. The embroidery needle managed to resist the lightning for a split second—before being devoured. Its energy absorbed, the gray lightning grew even stronger… and finally struck Xiao Yan.

It was like watching an eraser wipe away a line on a page.

Xiao Yan… ceased to exist.

He left no corpse, no ashes—only absence. As if he had never been born.

BOOM!

The impact split the Zhongzhou continent down the middle. The rift stretched endlessly, its end invisible to the eye.

Years passed.

Ye Feng never imagined that the rift would continue to expand, fracturing the once-great Douqi Continent into ten isolated lands. Eventually, three of them—Mu Continent, Atlantis, and Lemuria—vanished beneath the sea, swallowed by wars that never ceased.
