Chapter 412 - Chapter 412

The moon hung low in the sky as the quiet of night settled over Qingshan Town.

Inside the modest clinic, Ye Feng leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on the forehead of the Little Medical Fairy. After dressing, he stepped outside, his figure slowly ascending into the air. From above, he looked down at the quiet building, a surge of emotion swelling in his chest.

"Xiao Yixian… and my women in Doupo—wait for me. I will return. The next time we meet, I will open a gateway between Doupo and Douluo. We'll never be separated again."

He raised a finger. Crystalline gems fell from his sleeve like stars, embedding themselves in the ground to form a glowing, intricate magic circle.

This was how wormholes were made.

To form one, a marker had to be left behind. Once Ye Feng returned to the Douluo Plane, he could sense these stones through his spirit and use the power of space to reopen the path—linking Doupo and Douluo for good. A bridge across worlds.

Then, anyone could travel freely between the two planes.

Looking out over Qingshan Town bathed in moonlight, he sighed.

"This town is beautiful at night. The scenery, the people… all of it. Tch, what's with me today? It's not like I'm leaving forever. Why do I feel so reluctant?"

He chuckled at himself and shook his head, brushing aside the sentimentality. Reaching out, he drew open the fabric of space as if parting a beaded curtain. Beyond it loomed a deep, endless void.

He stepped in without hesitation.

The stars glimmered across the vast nothingness, lighting his path like scattered embers.

Guided by his soul sense, Ye Feng traveled swiftly through the void, pausing every hour to confirm his direction toward the Douluo Plane.

"The path's still correct. I'm getting closer…"

Time meant nothing in the void. Ye Feng couldn't tell how long he'd been drifting when a flicker of unfamiliar energy caught his attention. A planet, tucked between Doupo and Douluo.

"This world… it has life."

More than that—it held spiritual energy. Thin, but present. It was a cultivator's world.

"What kind of planet is this?"

Curiosity stirred in him.

As the God of Creation, Ye Feng didn't fear the void. Dead planets could be consumed and converted into pure energy within his body, sustaining him indefinitely.

But now… someone was praying.

"To me?"

A grin tugged at his lips. "Well, since I'm already passing through, I might as well investigate."

In a forest clearing, beside a humble wooden house, two adults and two children gathered.

"Mom, I heard the top three in the clan competition will receive a third-grade spiritual medicine—the Blood Coagulation Vermillion Fruit. Uncle said it's great for healing injuries. If I can win it, I'll be able to help Dad recover!"

The boy's eyes gleamed with determination.

His mother paused at the door, clearly moved. "The top three…? That won't be easy. But I'm glad you care so much. I'll boil some red ginseng for you."

She stepped into the house, leaving behind the boy and his father—a pale, wounded man with sharp features.

By the stone table sat a young girl, perhaps thirteen or fourteen, delicate and butterfly-like in build. A simple, light-colored dress clung to her slender frame, yet it couldn't dull her youthful energy.

Despite her age, her face was already striking. Her bright eyes sparkled with hope as she clasped her hands in silent prayer.

"Dear heavens… Please bless Brother Lin Dong. Help him get into the top three so he can heal Daddy's wounds."

Suddenly—boom!

A sharp crack split the sky above them.

Everyone in the yard looked up. The woman inside rushed back out, alarmed.

"Fireball?"

"No… it's a meteor!"

"It's heading straight for us! Move!"

CRASH!

The ground quaked violently as a fiery object slammed into the center of the yard. Flames licked at the nearby weeds, and a smoking crater formed where it landed.

The boy stared wide-eyed. "Dad… it's not a meteor. It's… a person!"

From within the smoking pit, a figure emerged—calm, composed, untouched by flame or force.

Ye Feng stood tall, his gaze sweeping the startled family.

"Who was praying to me just now?"

"P-Praying?" The boy blinked, confused.

The young girl's eyes lit up in delight. "Daddy! My prayer was answered! The heavens heard me!"

Ye Feng looked at her curiously. "It was you?"

"Yes, God," she said earnestly. "Please bless Brother Lin Dong so he can reach the top three in the clan competition."

"Lin Dong…" Ye Feng turned to the young man beside her. "That's you?"

Lin Dong nodded, stunned.

Ye Feng then glanced at the woman who had returned from the house. "You must be Liu Yan."

She looked around thirty, with gentle features and a calm, maternal aura.

"Yes," she said quietly.

Then Ye Feng turned to the man with the injured leg and fierce brow. "You must be Lin Xiao."

Despite his condition, Lin Xiao stood straight, assessing Ye Feng with caution.

"And you're Lin Qingtan," Ye Feng finally said to the girl.

"Yes, God!" she chirped with pride.

Ye Feng's eyes narrowed slightly. "So this is the Profound Sky Continent…"

Lin Qingtan tilted her head, then leaned toward her father and whispered, "Dad, is this Cangtian guy a little crazy?"

"Qingtan!" Lin Xiao chided, gently elbowing her.

Still, he narrowed his eyes at Ye Feng. Despite the man's grand entrance, he wasn't convinced Ye Feng was a deity. Someone at the Creation Realm… maybe even higher, sure. But a god?

"Little brother," Lin Xiao asked cautiously, "how did you fall from the sky?"

"Fall?" Ye Feng glanced at him lazily. "I didn't fall. The gravity here is weak. So I just descended the fastest way."

Lin Xiao's wariness deepened.

"And… where exactly are you from?"

"Douluo."

"Douluo?" Both Lin Xiao and Liu Yan exchanged puzzled looks. They had never heard of such a place.
