Chapter 486 - Chapter 486: Nine Tails Bomb

Chapter 486: Nine Tails Bomb

"Damn it, that hurts!" the Nine Tails Fire Fox cried out.

High above Mythical Beast Island, the Nine Tails Fire Fox, along with surrounding rocks and plants, was hurled into the sky by a shockwave.

Uchiha Madara's Gun of Elbaf had an immense range this time.

Coupled with the Nine Tails Fire Fox's size and its inability to evade, it was struck directly, leaving it momentarily dazed.

Yet, as it reached mid-air, it hovered, not falling with the debris.

Having endured such a powerful attack from Madara, the Nine Tails Fire Fox was determined to retaliate in kind.

Below, Madara immediately sensed the astonishing energy fluctuations.

His Sharingan reflected the scene unfolding in the sky.

The nine tails of the Nine Tails Fire Fox pointed upward, and a ball of light, formed from fiery red particles, began to take shape.

One glance at its stance revealed it was preparing a major attack.

"That Mythical Beast looks promising." a voice remarked.

At another location on Mythical Beast Island, Zhurong, the demon Apostle, observed the distant figure of the Nine Tails Fire Fox.

Its current posture, poised to unleash a powerful move, particularly caught his attention.

As a fire-attributed demon himself, Zhurong felt a strong affinity for this fire-based Mythical Beast.

With this observation, Zhurong decided to head toward it.

Perhaps he could attempt to demonize this Mythical Beast.

That was his initial thought.

Zhurong was deeply invested in the demon clan's development.

At this Mythical Beast Conference, he aimed to secure powerful assets for the demon clan.

He recognized the remarkable fluctuations emanating from the Nine Tails Fire Fox.

"That's my next target."

Hearing Zhurong's words, Kirro, standing nearby, smirked teasingly and said, "What, you don't want to compete over there?"

"I saw that human sword master among them. Maybe you could go and settle your old score."

Seeing Kirro's gloating expression, Zhurong remained unfazed, accustomed to his taunts.

"It's unnecessary. Though I've grown stronger, I can sense that she has too." Zhurong replied.

"If we meet again, my chances of winning are still slim. There's no need for a pointless confrontation."

Zhurong's response left Kirro feeling bored.

"How can you fight based on win rates? Life should be full of risks!" Kirro exclaimed.

Seeing Zhurong unmoved, Kirro abandoned his prodding.

"Fine, let's go!"

"No, I'll go alone and take advantage while that human is fighting the Mythical Beast." Zhurong replied.

"You pick another target. It's more efficient." he suggested expressionlessly, speaking of exploiting others.

Kirro chuckled and said, "Hey, that's an interesting way to put it!"

"Last time, I recall you said something similar, and then that human sword master nearly cut you down."

"This time, you won't mess up again, will you?" Kirro asked, his grin widening with a majestic smile.

"I won't fail this time. With that human's strength, I'm quite confident." Zhurong assured.

"Heh." Kirro scoffed.

He didn't mind either way. If trouble arose, he could intervene, as long as he wasn't too far from Zhurong.

"Alright! I'll head to the Thousand-Year Forest Ridge to check things out. That War King is brewing trouble, so I'll make sure he doesn't ruin things." Kirro said.

For Kirro, managing his subordinates wasn't ideal.

With their strength, they had grown reckless.

Even if the demon clan could handle it, he found it amusing.

Seeing Zhurong's dedication, however, made their recklessness seem almost pitiful.

To honor Zhurong's efforts, Kirro decided to support some of his goals.

He would head over to watch the spectacle—or rather, to maintain balance.

As the two Apostles made their decision, elsewhere, Madara faced the massive red sphere the Nine Tails had conjured in the sky.

This was the Nine Tails Fire Fox's ultimate technique: Nine Tails Bomb.

Most Mythical Beasts on the island used this form of ultimate attack, channeling their essence into powerful, straightforward moves.

These techniques were simple, direct, and potent, leveraging the Mythical Beasts' natural strengths.

Bang! Bang!

With the sound of air breaking, the fire-bomb-like super sphere hurtled toward Madara.

The enormous sphere, spanning hundreds of meters, dwarfed Madara's 200-meter Susanoo.

Unlike Orochimaru's earlier appearance, the particles in the Nine Tails Fire Fox's sphere were loosely arranged, reducing its localized power.

Still, for a creature that spent its days eating and sleeping, executing Nine Tails Bomb to this degree was impressive.

The scene was intimidating, the massive light resembling a sun falling from the sky.

Yet, even facing such a formidable attack, Madara did not waver.

In fact, he grew more excited.

The stronger the Nine Tails, the more valuable it would be as a summoning beast.

This thrilled Madara, filling him with delight.

As he watched the descending attack, his Eternal Mangekyō spun rapidly.

Susanoo gripped its swords with both hands, swinging the two giant blades skyward once more.

Spear of Elbaph, inspired by Big Mom, reappeared.

"Ikoku!" Madara declared.

An overwhelming shockwave surged toward the falling sun.

Rumble!

Whoosh! Whoosh!

The ultimate techniques collided in mid-air.

The atmosphere quaked.

An endless shockwave radiated a massive aura across the sky.

Within the gas ring, a light sphere thousands of meters wide glowed with infinite flames.

A third of it touched the ground, instantly melting and reducing it to ashes, causing the entire Mythical Beast Island to tremble slightly.

The dazzling fire and simultaneous quakes drew the attention of countless creatures on the island.

"What is that? Has the sun fallen?" someone exclaimed.

"That's impossible! You're joking!" another retorted.

"Stop saying foolish things and take cover!" a third urged.

In a certain part of Mythical Beast Island, the Buggy Pirates had docked at the shore of Crescent Lake.

They stared at the massive light ring and the approaching shockwave and heatwave in the distance.

Their eyes widened in panic.

Some stretched out their hands, others crouched, and some activated their abilities.

Soon, the shockwave hit.

The forest within a 1.2-square-meter radius suffered immediately.

Many trees bent or were uprooted, flying through the air.

Sand and stone particles pelted like a torrential storm.

The Buggy Pirates, caught in the chaos, were left ashen-faced, covered in dust, and utterly disheveled.

Fortunately, they were not ordinary people, or they might have been swept away with the trees.

"Phew! That was close! Too close!" Buggy gasped, his face etched with fear.

A candle wall stood before him, conjured by Galdino's ability.

It was this barrier that preserved Captain Buggy's composure.

Even so, Buggy tilted his head and saw the blinding, thousand-meter fireball in the distance.

A growl rumbled in his throat, and his legs grew weak.

Perhaps he should return home!

This place was too dangerous. He'd be better off back in East Blue, continuing his courier business!

Buggy thought to himself.
