Chapter 490: It's Just an Experiment, It Seems No Different from a Breeze

"Kuwahahaha! Dear viewers, we can now see the battlefield at the Thousand-Year Forest Ridge." Morgans announced.

"This time, Aizen-sama faces Bullet, the Reverberation Devil of the Extremely Evil Fleet."

"It's unclear whether it's for the Thousand-Year Dragon King or to avenge Gabaisho's defeat, but Bullet is attacking with great enthusiasm."

"He is relentlessly bombarding with his attacks, and the shockwaves are raging, creating a breathtaking spectacle."

"I wonder what the outcome of this clash between demigods will be! Everyone, stay tuned!"

While Bullet continued his onslaught, Morgans provided a timely close-up of the battlefield and reported with excitement.

This was a confrontation between two demigods.

Such a clash was captivating, especially involving one who had displayed overwhelming power at the Mythical Beast Conference.

The other was the Reverberation Devil, Bullet.

While his combat power was formidable, his destructive force was even more shocking and terrifying.

The collision between these two sparked curiosity about the outcome.

Morgans himself leaned toward Aizen.

After all, his performance was truly fearsome.

He had defeated Gabaisho with ease.

However, not everyone shared this view.

Many lacked a true sense of high-level combat dynamics.

Though Aizen's instant defeat of Gabaisho stunned those with strong combat abilities, for ordinary people, the impact was less profound.

Their fight was too brief, resolved in a flash.

Many ordinary spectators didn't even grasp what had happened.

Some even thought Gabaisho was weak, unworthy of his reputation.

For those unable to perceive high-end combat, the simplest measure of a powerhouse's strength was the grandeur of their battles.

Take the Bright Lake Forest, for example.

Uchiha Madara's battle with the Nine Tails Fire Fox was vivid and intuitive.

People could feel Madara's terror.

This was largely due to the Nine Tails' sun-like attack.

The move was so striking that the phone bugs' screens flickered multiple times, as if their eyes were blinded by the flash.

The fiery red fireball was visible across a wide area centered on Mythical Beast Island.

Such a terrifying attack made people truly sense the might of top-tier powerhouses.

Even after witnessing god-tier battles that could destroy the world, they still felt awe, yearning, and fear at such spectacles.

There was no doubt about it.

Bullet, the Reverberation Devil, was a figure known for such grand attacks.

For such a character, even if Aizen was powerful, not everyone favored him.

Even though he had shattered Madara's giant sword with a single move.

Rumble!

On Aizen's side of the battlefield, Bullet's assault finally ceased.

In his previous barrage, he had unleashed countless bullets and artillery shells.

After all, his ammunition was limitless, sourced from the environment.

The attack drastically altered the terrain.

Hundreds of meters ahead lay in ruins, the land plowed and scorched.

Within tens of meters, craters dotted the ground.

Fortunately, his attack was directed away from the waterfall where the Thousand-Year Dragon King resided.

Otherwise, the beautiful land of the Thousand-Year Dragons might have been utterly ruined.

As Bullet halted, the Thousand-Year Dragon King breathed a sigh of relief.

It desperately wished they would take their fight elsewhere.

It felt wronged, having concealed a certain treasure.

But there was nothing wrong with the process.

Orochimaru never mandated such actions.

The ability of Mythical Beasts to evade or deceive contestants was part of their skill.

This Mythical Beast Conference was not merely about distributing rewards.

Beyond gaining reputation, it was a test of the experimental Mythical Beasts' combat data.

If the Mythical Beasts united to drive contestants off the island, Orochimaru would remain indifferent.

Regardless of the outcome, it was just an experiment for him.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Cool, strong winds dispersed the thick smoke blanketing the area.

Aizen's figure reappeared in Bullet's view.

His white coat fluttered slightly, and he raised his right hand to adjust his glasses.

A calm smile graced his face, as if untouched by the onslaught.

"It's interesting, but such an attack is no different from a gentle breeze." Aizen said.

He gazed at the giant mecha before him and spoke calmly.

The attack, against his formidable Reiatsu, was almost negligible.

It might be an exaggeration to call it a breeze, but it posed little threat.

He hadn't even bothered to use Bakudō for defense, simply letting Bullet attack.

The assault was impressive and somewhat novel, but to Aizen, it was unremarkable.

Seeing Aizen unscathed, not even a speck of dust on him, Bullet's eyes within the mecha gleamed with solemnity and fighting spirit.

His earlier attack was no trifling matter.

The relentless impacts and explosions, coupled with temperatures reaching two thousand degrees, were formidable.

Combined, their lethality was significant.

In its current form, this was Bullet's standard maximum output.

Yet Aizen had stood there, enduring it effortlessly.

This display put immense pressure on Bullet, fueling his frenzied fighting spirit.

He had grown so strong.

Yet, monsters like Aizen kept appearing before him.

This outcome only heightened Bullet's excitement.

Having overcome his doubts, his fighting spirit was boundless.

As long as he lived, he would strive to be the world's greatest and challenge that man.

"It seems your fighting spirit is strong, but there's no need for pointless resistance." Aizen said.

"If you have no new tricks, this ends here."

Aizen sensed Bullet's fervor within the mecha.

But if Bullet had nothing more to offer, Aizen had no intention of wasting time.

"Bakudō 61: Six Rods Prison of Light." Aizen declared. (Rikujōkōrō)

Bullet's eyes narrowed, feeling himself immobilized.

Yellow light from six paths appeared abruptly, piercing his mecha's waist in a wheel-like formation.

The move was swift and nearly impossible to dodge.

And it wasn't over.

Bullet sensed an imminent, greater danger.

"Hadō 90: Black Coffin." Aizen intoned. (Kurohitsugi)

Buzz! Buzz!

A chilling roar accompanied the spell.

Black tendrils spread along the ground from the mecha's four corners, slithering like snakes.

A massive Black Coffin began to take shape.

Boom!

A sound like a coffin slamming shut echoed.

The enormous Black Coffin sealed Bullet and his mecha inside.

Within the Black Coffin, Bullet felt the growing crisis.

Danger was upon him.

Naturally, he resisted fiercely.

His infinite telekinesis and Conqueror's Haki erupted, straining against the Six Rods Prison of Light binding him.

In that moment, a terrifying explosion erupted, shaking tens of feet around.
