The ghostly T-Rex lies on the ground as it whimpers in pain. Nearby, the lady of the planet kneels, her form shimmering with green energy, eyes heavy with exhaustion. Her voice quivers, yet carries the weight of ages:
"I saw a vision… the destruction of myself , and the six Chosen Stars from the human race. I searched… endlessly… to see which among the Chosen were truly striving to save me. One has already fallen. Another… has become corrupted by power. The fire-wielder seeks only to impress. The one fighting the king… his heart is shrouded in thick fog, a mystery even to me."
She then turns to Kayle and Boa and says
"But you two… you are the brightest Chosen I have seen. I can feel it—you are truly trying to save this planet. I… have grown weak. Alone, I cannot save myself. But with you, I can grant the power… the strength to save this world from it's doom. But it will take time… patience… and resolve."
She lifts her hand, extending it toward Kayle and Boa.
As they touch her palm, torrents of emerald planetary energy surge into them, wrapping their forms in blinding light. The energy pulses and hums, resonating with their very essence as the power of the planet begins to infuse their bodies.
Kayle gasps as the warmth spreads through her veins, a surge of strength and clarity unlike anything she's ever known. Boa closes his eyes, feeling the pulse of the planet's lifeforce merging with his own spirit.
Gaia and Rose enter the main chamber of the castle to find Ignis and the others resting. Ignis rises, flames flickering along his fists, ready for action.
Rose raises her hands in a calming gesture. "It's alright… it's only us."
Ignis exhales, lowering his guard, and falls back down.
Gaia surveys the group—Jen, Crank, Vel, and Tomi—all recovering on the floor. "Your wounds are mostly healed, but his magic alone won't restore your stamina. I'll help, but in return, I expect all of your assistance in the later stages of the Star Games."
Ignis cracks a smile, "Alright. Whatever you want. We're ready to catch up with the others."
Gaia opens a small portal, letting out digital healing sprays and stamina food. The team quickly consumes them, regaining strength.
Rose's eyes catch a glimmer in the corner. She approaches a cracked wall. Suddenly, a golden gate emerges. She draws her golden key and whispers, "It's here…" before stepping through.
Gaia's headset crackles to life. "Lady Gaia! Lars Platinumgrey has arrived—he's destroying all the roaming golems!"
Gaia speaks back urgently. "Lars?! Are you and the others alright?"
Hopper's voice responds, tense but clear. "Yeah. Lars doesn't wish to fight anyone allied with Gilga or Taeo. He's only seeking the other Chosens."
Gaia looks at Ignis, who's finishing a digital banana. "You're in danger, but I can't help you with this one."
Ignis stands, confidence burning in his eyes. "I can handle myself now. Thanks for the food. Let's go see what's at the top."
The castle shakes violently. Lars enters, his presence electrifying the chamber. Purple and white magic swirls around him. His metal gauntlets gleam, boots clang against the floor, and his ice wand hovers around him. His gaze locks on Ignis.
"You're a Chosen… a fire one. Let's see how strong you really are," Lars says, voice deep and commanding.
Gaia steps through the golden gate to avoid the fight, entering a floating golden realm, spotting Rose bouncing from cloud to cloud above.
Ignis' aura flares with flames. "We're Chosens! We should be helping out each other!"
Lars sneers, "The only way for you to help me… is in death!"
They clash fists, the impact shaking the castle violently.
Crank and Jen scramble to their feet. Jen whispers, "It's that noble again!"
Crank growls, "He's stronger than before!"
Tomi shields his face. "Lars Platinumgrey… here?!"
Vel gasps, "So much power…"
Ignis crashes to the floor, coughing blood. Lars lands before them, imposing and calm.
Ignis glares at Lars. "If you want to see my full power, let's handle this outside!"
Lars grabs him by the collar, tossing him through the castle walls. Ignis crashes through multiple cobweb stairways outside, debris scattering everywhere.
Hopper helps Ortis and Yuri to safety. They witness a purple stream of light burst from the castle, followed by a massive pillar of fire erupting far off.
The trio duck behind a stairway, peering out as more purple and fire explosions ripple across the cobweb stairway field.
Meanwhile, in the energy planet realm, Nox clashes against the mighty King. The King's sword burns with heavy dark energy, and when Nox looks into his eyes, all he sees are endless flowing black energy skulls.
"You…" the King growls.
He leans closer, whispering words so faint that only Nox hears them. Nox's eyes widen in shock. Before he can react, the King drives his magic sword downward, impaling Nox's stomach. The crushing weight of the dark energy pins him to the ground.
Nox grips the blade, straining to pull it free, but it refuses to budge. His voice trembles as he mutters,
"This sword… it carries the weight of his people. No… it's more than that…"
The King turns away, soaring toward the dense storm of green planetary energy pouring from the Lady of the planet. She screams, her voice breaking in agony.
"No!!"
Kayle pulls desperately on the stream of energy, Boa at her side, both locked in a deadly tug of war against the King.
"I need it all," the King roars. "I need to become God itself!"
"You'll doom this planet!" Kayle shouts back.
Boa yells with her, voice burning with defiance.
"We need this to win the Star Games!"
The green energy continues pouring into the King, his body swelling with its power.
"Your desires are nothing compared to mine!" he thunders. "I carry the weight of a universe!"
Kayle and Boa strain, but the balance tips, most of the energy flowing into the King's body.
"Hold on tight!" Boa calls out. "I'll find another way!"
He shuts his eyes. His spirit tears free from his body and drifts toward the King.
There, he sees it: the King's spirit, blackened and monstrous, surrounded by countless dark skulls. A chorus of billions of voices crashes into Boa's mind—rage, sorrow, confusion, and fear—all screaming at once.
The noise staggers him, but Boa pushes forward, plunging straight into the King's spirit.
Instantly, countless shadowy hands drag at him, pulling him down. He thrashes, swimming through a sea of arms that try to drown him in the abyss.
His head barely breaks the surface as he screams in pain.
Boa's yellow eyes darken as the shadowy arms drag him under. His vision shifts.
He stands on a colossal platform stretching far. The structure trembles beneath him. He runs to its edge—only to realize it is part of a massive dungeon ship, flying away from a planet below.
The further the ship drifts into space, the more the planet is swallowed in radiant white magic. The world explodes in blinding light.
Boa gasps, spinning in horror. One by one, the nearby planets erupt in the same brilliance. Even the distant stars burst apart in chains of white fire.
The platform crumbles beneath him, and Boa plunges into the ship's throne room.
Knights and mages kneel in despair, weeping. At the center, a summoner steps toward the throne, then falls to her knees before the King.
"We must do something!" she pleads. "We are powerful enough to at least try!"
The King's voice is heavy with resignation.
"I am only a King. My powers are limited. We can't save everyone… at most, we can save one per planet."
The summoner's chains flare with magic. She rises, trembling, and declares,
"Then this is the only way…"
Dark energy floods the chamber.
Time fragments. Boa's vision twists, showing him glimpses of the summoner's journey.
The dungeon ship descends to a desert cave on a dying planet. White magic erases everything around it. Inside, a red-blooded orc lies broken and near death. The summoner extends her chained hand to him.
Moments later, a lush forest world crumbles as white magic vines rip through waterfalls and stone. A fairy writhes in her burning nest. The summoner kneels, hand reaching once more.
On a cybernetic world, a space car rockets skyward as its home explodes. White vines lashes out from the planet, wrapping around the vehicle. The dwarf pilot, moments from being crushed, lifts his hand toward the descending summoner.
Another planet, a golden forest of eternal autumn. White flames consume the leaves as a dark elf cries over the corpse of his human wife. Again, the summoner's hand reaches through the destruction.
And again. And again. Each dying world leaves Boa writhing in pain, the endless cries of the saved and the damned splitting through his mind.
At last, the dungeon ship nears Doom Planet. It plunges into the great green crater, only to be caught in a net of radiant planetary energy. Boa falls through the ship's floor, descending deeper into the crater.
He lands in the energy planet realm. The Lady of the planet collapses to her knees, drained and trembling.
Boa turns—and sees the summoner dragging the bloody King away. He follows, stumbling back into the throne room. The King lies on his throne, breath rattling, until silence claims him.
The knights and mages cry out in grief.
The summoner rises, chains glowing, her voice unyielding.
"This is not over! No matter how long it takes, we must have faith in him! We must give him everything—because only he can save us all!"
The knights and mages raise their hands, chanting in unison. The summoner joins, and a torrent of magic pours into the lifeless King.
The vision shatters.
Boa bursts from the sea of dark arms, gasping. He rips a lightning bolt from his chest and hurls it downward. Yellow light explodes, tearing the sea apart.
But still, countless hands surge back, seizing him, dragging him deeper into the abyss.
Back in reality, Boa's eyes stay shut as his body shakes violently. He collapses onto the ground, his spirit still trapped inside of the King's body.
Kayle digs her heels into the ground, clutching the stream of energy with both hands.
"Come on, not now!" she yells, straining against the pull.
The Lady of the Planet screams as the ground splits open. The ghostly T-Rex then rises from it's beaten state, jaws wide, and clamps down on the King.
For a moment, victory seems near—until black energy floods out of the T-Rex's throat. The earth boils into a dark pool.
From it, a colossal skeletal hand bursts forth, clutching the T-Rex's neck. A towering grey skeleton drags itself free, ripping the King from the dinosaur's mouth. The King, unfazed, continues tugging the planetary energy into himself.
The skeleton slams the T-Rex into the ground. Spikes erupt across the realm, spearing through the air, painting everything in streaks of grey and green.
Then more skeletons claw their way out of the ground, swarming forward to aid the King. Together, they pull even harder, ripping more of the Lady's essence into his body.
She shrieks, her form flickering, fading.
"I can't… hold on anymore!" Kayle gasps, falling to one knee.
With a final heave, the King absorbs the remaining flow. The Lady of the Planet collapses, unconscious, her glow barely extinguished.
Kayle drops, trembling, while the King and his skeletal army march toward her and Boa. His voice booms across the realm.
"You both still hold forty percent of her power. Give me every last drop of it!"
Before he can strike, the energy tunnel behind them explodes in fire and purple light. The realm itself cracks, tearing apart.
Ignis crashes to the ground nearby, coughing blood.
The King whirls in confusion as a figure steps through the rupture—Lars.
He strides past the chaos, stopping beside Nox, who is still pinned by the King's cursed sword. Lars's eyes flick to the shovel lying near him. Calmly, he grips the blackened blade with his gauntlets and yanks it free from Nox's stomach.
Nox gasps as the weapon is tossed aside. Lars grabs him by the collar and hurls him toward Kayle.
"So much power gathered in one place…" Lars smirks. "This will definitely put me at number one spot."
He launches forward, his punch shattering the giant skeleton into rubble. Momentum carries him into the horde, where he barrels through thousands of skeletal soldiers with raw force.
Ignis crawls to Boa's side, shaking him.
"Boa… get up…"
Kayle supports Nox, dragging him to his feet.
The King steadies himself, eyes fixed on them—ignoring Lars. He raises his chin to speak, but before he can—
Crash!
Lars stomps him into the ground, pinning him beneath his metal boot. His eyes glow as he glares down at the monarch.
"It's not wise to ignore me."
He turns his head toward Kayle and Nox, grinning.
"This fight's going to take a while. Long enough that even the third wave of doom will arrive before we're done. But at least… most of us are here."
Around them, energy auras clash—green, grey, fire, lightning, and darkness—ripping the realm apart piece by piece.
Meanwhile, in the digital world, Taeo and Gilga stand surrounded by thousands of glowing screens. Each one flickers with chaotic images from across the planet: dimensional rips tearing the sky, mountains trembling, seas crashing and swirling into whirlpools.
Taeo narrows his eyes, his voice low.
"The third wave of doom… is almost here."
Gilga pinches his chin,
"Well… at least I finished my project. We're already ahead of the curve."
Both turn toward a massive central screen.
It shows the moon, floating in the emptiness of space. But now—dark energy spreads across its surface like ink in water, devouring it whole. The once-bright lunar glow is swallowed piece by piece, until the entire sphere is shrouded in writhing black.
