Chapter 96 - MONSTER DUNGEON

Nox and his team materialize inside a vast chamber. Hundreds of Star parties surround them in every direction, all funneling toward a single massive exit up ahead.

Nox summons his sword and shield as glowing text forms beside him:

Paladin

Voytek materializes a heavy backpack filled with scrolls as his class appears:

Scroll Master

Hans's hand ignites with light as a tattoo forms on his skin:

Illusionist

Around them, the surrounding Star parties ready their weapons, tightening the circle with predatory eyes.

Corvex steps forward, raising her blade with perfect form. Her class appears:

Master at Arms

She points her sword at the encroaching crowd.

"If you want to live, head for the exit. If not, don't mind becoming easy EXP for us!"

A Star shouts back, "You're outnumbered! You're the easy prey!"

He charges with a massive axe.

Corvex sees glowing text flashing across his body on his neck, ankle, and chest:

Weak Point

She slips past his swing with blinding speed. One slash tears his neck, another cuts his ankle, and before he can shout for backup, Corvex drives her sword into his chest. The Weak Point markers fade as he falls lifeless, dissolving into floating EXP orbs that pour into Corvex's body.

She turns sharply to the crowd.

"He's right! Don't hold back fight with everything you've got!"

The surrounding Stars grit their teeth and prepare to rush all at once.

Corvex sees even more Weak Points appearing across multiple enemies. Her heartbeat quickens. She charges in slashing many times.

Nox moves in behind her sword slashing and shield bashing through enemies covering her back.

Voytek opens a burning scroll, unleashing a fire wall that consumes incoming Stars. He follows it with a wind blast scroll that launches enemies across the chamber like ragdolls.

A sword-wielding Star charges at Hans, who stands completely still with his eyes closed.

He drives his blade straight into Hans's chest.

"The child is the easiest to kill-!"

Hans's body then dissolves into smoke.

The Star flails wildly, panicking. As the smoke clears, his own sword flickers and disappears into smoke.

Hans steps forward behind him, holding the Star's real sword, and stabs through his chest. The Star watches his HP drop past halfway.

"Healer! I need a healer! And someone kill that kid!"

A healer rushes in, chanting as light gathers in her hands. Four more allies charge Hans as they stabs him in different angles.

But the healer freezes mid-cast to see Hans transforming into the wounded Star.

She then takes a look at the wounded Star she's healing… as he then transforms. His face melts into Hans's.

"What…? I don't understand…"

Hans smirks.

"It's too complicated to explain to you anyway."

He taps her shoulder as she transforms entirely into Hans.

The charging Stars then redirection their attention as they quickly rush in to kill her instantly.

Chaos spreads through the chamber, blood spraying, magic exploding, EXP orbs floating everywhere as the battle spirals into a massacre.

"They'll fall eventually! They're losing stamina!" one Star yells.

Dozens look at Nox's team bruised, bloodied, breathing heavy.

Nox grins through his exhaustion.

"Are you sure about that?"

He slams his shield down. A holy aura surges outward, healing all their wounds at once.

Hans steps forward as a sea of EXP orbs floods into their party.

"Look again! Look at what you're really facing!"

The enemy Stars stare at Nox's team levels:

As all four of them are Level 20.

Panic hits instantly.

One Star bolts for the exit. Then another. Soon, all of them sprint toward the gate in a frenzy.

Hans ends his illusion. Their true levels reappear:

Nox — Level 5

Corvex — Level 2

Voytek — Level 2

Hans — Level 4

Voytek exhales. "Good work, Hans. Your magic really is useful."

Hans smiles proudly. "Gramps, I picked this class because I knew it'd be perfect for us especially with such a small party."

Voytek ruffles Hans's hair. Corvex checks Nox's wounds, but Nox brushes it off.

"Well done, team," he says, stepping toward the exit. "Time to head for the outer circle."

The team nods, renewed determination burning in their eyes.

Meanwhile, Gaia's party pushes into the outer circle, arriving at a sprawling swamp coated in thick green mist. The moment they step in, armed fisherman-like monsters rise from the murky water and rush toward them with jagged spears.

Gaia lifts her hand as her pawn team surge forward in formation.

Gaia claps her hands together as digital gears spiral out from her palms, rotating and assembling around her as glowing text forms beside her showing her class:

Arcane Engineer

A launcher materializes in her grip heavy, mechanical, humming with energy. Her other hand shakes as more gears float around her wrist, assembling a small metal canister.

She loads it into the launcher as she shoots a volley of green canisters launches across the swamp, exploding in bursts of emerald light that fill the battlefield with a healing aura, affecting only her team. Wounds close, stamina rises, determination spikes.

In the frontline, Ortis steps forward, his eyes burning with red fire.

"For Lady Gaia!"

He opens his mouth and unleashes a massive fire breath, scorching through waves of spear-fishermen and lighting the swamp in blazing orange. His class text appears above him:

Draconic

Suddenly, the swamp trembles.

Enormous swamp seahorses burst from the mud, their mouths gathering pressure before firing devastating water blasts across Gaia's formation.

One blast heads straight toward Gaia—

but Hopper leaps in front, slamming down his enormous shield as it expands with a magical glow. His class appears:

Queen Shield

The water blast slams into his shield, but instead of breaking him, the shield absorbs the impact entirely. Hopper braces, then channels the stored power back.

A massive water burst fires from his shield, shredding the seahorses in a single overwhelming strike.

Gaia immediately casts another gear spell, cogs whirl around her feet and snap into the ground, forming a shimmering aura field beneath her team. The mud loses its grip, turning the swamp floor into solid, walkable terrain for her allies.

She pumps a fist.

"Keep it coming we're going to level up even more!"

Her team roars back with energy as more swamp monsters rise to meet them.

Gaia smiles, gears spinning wildly in the air behind her like a halo.

Meanwhile, Jayden's team reaches their section of the outer circle,

a sprawling goblin camp packed with crooked tents, bone totems, and blazing green torches.

The moment they appear, hundreds of goblins screech and charge, weapons raised.

Jayden steps forward alone.

Arrows, rocks, and fireballs slam into him—

but they all bounce off his skin, his muscles glowing with a radiant golden shine.

Class text appears beside him:

HERO

"Alright," Jayden says, cracking his shoulders, "The Hero Of Courage has arrived!"

He dashes in, smashing goblins left and right with earth-shaking punches. Every strike sends green bodies flying.

To his right, Pax charges with mechanical precision.

His metal arms shift, gears whirring, one transforming into a energy blade, the other into a laser cannon. as his class is shown above him.

ROBO

He fires rapid lasers that pierce through goblins like sparks of lightning, then cleaves through entire lines with his energy sword.

Ambros kneels behind cover, calm and focused.

Magic circles form along his rifle as he fires shot after shot each magic bullet punching cleanly through goblin skulls as his class is shown besides him.

Arcane Sniper

"Targets down," he mutters without emotion, already lining up the next.

Rudi raises her staff, a gentle green light flowing out as she casts a healing spell over Pax as her class is shown too.

Healer

"I've got your back! Keep pushing!"

From the shadows behind the camp, two gleaming daggers emerge.

Vesper appears like a whisper as his class appears next to him.

Shadow Dancer

He slips behind the goblin horde, running his black blades across throats, hearts, and spines

killing dozens before a single goblin realizes he's there.

By the time they turn, he's already vanished again.

The goblin camp collapses in chaos as Jayden's team moves in perfect rhythm

power, tech, precision, support, and shadows all become one unstoppable force.

Meanwhile, Boa's party enters a dense jungle zone, thick with vines, glowing plants, and strange animal cries echoing between the trees.

The moment they step in, monkeys leap from every direction, screeching and hurling sharpened stones.

Boa doesn't even flinch.

He raises his hand as three magic blasts fire out in one second, rapid and precise.

Each shot hits its target cleanly, sending monkeys flying through the jungle canopy.

His class is then shown above him:

Warlock

A massive pig-man brute charges out from the trees, swinging a spiked club.

Crank steps forward, with his chest out.

"Tiger mode."

His class flashes above him:

Beastserker

Orange aura explodes from his arms, shaping into roaring tiger heads that wrap around his fists.

He dashes in and unleashes a torrent of tiger-shaped punches, each strike louder than the last.

The ground shatters beneath the pig-man as Crank drives him into a crater.

Not far away, Ignis and Tobias face a fisherman riding a dragon horse a long reptilian creature galloping over the air like water.

Ignis flicks his bracelet. It spins wildly.

His class appears:

Lucky Slot

The slot stops on a moon symbol

A glowing moon blade forms in his hand

and crescent-shaped moon skates appear under his feet.

"Alright! Let's see what this does!"

He dashes forward, skating effortlessly across the air, leaving shimmering moon trails behind him.

He clashes blades with the fisherman as the dragon horse fires a freezing ice beam.

Ignis barely evades, skating along the ice itself, curving upward into the sky.

Tobias trembles, overwhelmed.

But he forces himself to inhale then exhale.

He slams his palms together, releasing a burst of glowing seeds that scatter across the battlefield.

His class then appears:

Magic Herbalist

Flowers erupt instantly spreading across the ground in vibrant colors.

Healing light wraps around Ignis, healing his wounds.

A giant sunflower bursts from behind Tobias.

Its mouth opens and fires blazing sun lasers, striking the fisherman and knocking him clean off his dragon horse.

Ignis lands next to Tobias, breathless but smiling.

"Nice work," he says. "We've got this. Together now!"

Meanwhile, Kayle enters a desolate wasteland.

Rotting hands scrape out from the dirt, hundreds of zombies lurch toward her at once.

Kayle exhales.

White angelic wings burst from her back.

Her helmet materializes over her head, her sword gleaming with divine light as her class floats beside her:

Valkyrie

"Come."

She swings her blade a single divine arc that flashes like lightning.

Entire rows of zombies split apart and crumble to ash.

More swarm, but she cuts through them with effortless, holy precision, each strike erupting with white flame.

Every kill sends glowing EXP orbs soaring into the sky.

Meanwhile, in Tomi's team…

Tomi and his teammates remain seated calmly in the beginner chamber, not a single enemy in sight.

Tomi leans back, arms folded.

His class glows beside him:

Warlord

Bright EXP notifications constantly ping across their stat menus as the numbers continues to climb.

Tomi smirks. "We don't have to worry. Kayle will handle the heavy lifting. Once our level are high enough, we'll head out."

His team nods, stunned by the massive EXP they're receiving while doing absolutely nothing.

Meanwhile, in Gilga's team…

Gilga, Khaos, and Baron sit in comfortable their chairs inside their own beginner chamber, relaxed and waiting.

A loyal pawn of Gilga stumbles back into the room with a level of 2, covered in mud and blood from the outer circle.

He kneels before Gilga.

"For Sir Gilga!"

Gilga gives a simple hand gesture.

Baron rises. Her class appears above her:

Bomber

She gently touches the pawn's shoulder.

A soft click… then BOOM

The pawn explodes into shimmering EXP orbs, all of which flow into Baron.

She turns back to Gilga, impressed. "This idea of yours is brilliant. I never expected pawns to have this level of devotion."

Gilga stands, brushing invisible dust off his coat. "Indeed, Pawns exist to be spent. Pieces exist to be moved. That is the law of the board. Also since you're solo, all the EXP goes to you."

Baron squints. "But how does this benefit you at all?"

Gilga extends his hand over the pawn's remains. Sickly green magic pulses outward. His class appears:

Necromancer

The blown-apart corpse reassembles, becoming a lifeless zombie pawn ready to serve again.

Gilga smiles. "Every time I create a piece, I also gain EXP. You gain your levels, I gain mine. Efficiency is divine."

More pawns walk in, ready to be sacrificed.

Khaos rises suddenly, his expression irritated.

"I see the strategy. I respect it. But…"

He gestures sharply at the kneeling pawns.

"I don't like it. Let's make this more entertaining."

He gives the pawns a cruel smirk.

"Fight me."

The pawns charge. Khaos moves faster than sight—bones erupt from his arms, impaling each pawn with brutal precision.

His class glows:

Bone Slayer

The bones whip out of the fallen pawns, swirling around him as he forges them into a bone sword.

as he puts pressure onto it—it cracks slightly.

"Tch. Still not enough for my full strength. I'll need more."

Gilga folds his hands behind his back. "That's going to complicate things. If you take the bones, I can't resurrect them properly. But… I'll give you your share. After all, we need each other to reach the final stage."

Khaos smirks. "Naturally. We all want to become gods after all."

Meanwhile, Lars…

Deep in a cavern dripping with glowing moss, Lizardmen rush him in hordes.

Lars stands alone in the center bleeding, enraged, unstoppable.

A red aura pulses violently from his chest.

His class appears above him:

Berserker

He roars and tears into the Lizardmen with pure, explosive ferocity,

every strike fueled by fury, every kill sending shockwaves through the cave.

He fights like a beast possessed as he only grows stronger.

Meanwhile, on the Platinumgrey ship floating near God's Arena, Sunny steps forward with excitement glinting in his eyes.

"Sir Zion, we've got an important caller asking for you."

He presses a button.

The digital screen flickers, shifting into the silhouette of a shadowy figure.

Zion straightens his posture, his expression sharpening.

"Ah… one of the Gem Nobles. What do you want from me?"

The Gem Noble's distorted voice echoes from the screen.

"Kairo has disappeared. It has been a full day with no contact. You are now tasked with taking his position. Investigate his lab, determine what has happened to him and finish the job."

Zion bows his head slightly.

"As you wish."

As the screen flickers out, Sunny nearly jumps with excitement.

"We're doing Gem Noble work?! That's amazing!"

Zion immediately raises a hand to stop him. His tone drops into something cold and uneasy.

"No. This is bad. Kairo has never failed a mission before."

He narrows his eyes at the massive screens showing the Star games.

"Something is not right."
