I turn around, walking down the quiet halls, my feet echoing with each step, breathing shallow.
"Listen boy," My father- no the king's words would echo in my mind as I walked, my teeth gritted and my pace increased.
"You need to save your sister, no matter what. Even if it costs you your life," I remember them vividly, for it was the day before the war, the first time I felt true fear, fear of my fighting, fear of him.
