Now that Yunyi is not yet three months pregnant, no matter how tempted Huo Jingrui was, he didn't dare make any reckless moves.
The two held each other close and had a good night's sleep.
Since they had to go back to the city the next day, Yunyi got up early without lazing in bed.
The two planned to drop their things off at the Huo Family's and then visit the Ye Family. Her brother was getting married in a few days, and she wanted to see how the preparations were going.
While Yunyi was tidying up, Huo Jingrui made breakfast in the kitchen: "Yi'er, breakfast is ready, let's eat first."
His wife was pregnant, after all; she couldn't go hungry.
Commander Wei of the Third Group happened to be going to the city on business and had agreed to give them a ride back today.
Seeing everything was packed up and ready, Yunyi replied, "Coming," so they could leave when the car arrived.
