A nautical mile away, Byron turned pale after casting the Nation-Destroying Nail and sat down directly on the back of the Man-Eater Shark.

Violet, who had been supporting Byron, also knelt beside him so he could lean on her more steadily.

Yet, she didn't feel like she was taking care of a fellow ally suffering the same afflictions; instead, she sincerely felt that Byron, three years her junior, was shielding her from the storm.
