Upon hearing his daughter speak like that, the balding man didn't dare say anything more. He hastily took out his phone and made a call. After whispering a few instructions, he hung up. He was about to say something else to the woman, but she walked away with her bag on her back without even glancing at him.
The anxious man yelled from behind, "Daughter, listen to me! Please go to the hospital in the ambulance! Get another checkup!"
"You can hate me, but you can't gamble with your own life!"
Without turning her head, the woman retorted, "You don't need to worry about me. I'll go get checked myself later!"
With that, she was gone. The balding man sighed, returned to his Mercedes, and drove away.
He left behind a crowd of onlookers who stood there foolishly. However, once they saw there was no more excitement, they all dispersed after a short while.
