Lu Xiaoyu looked at the bewildered Liu Ergou, the corners of her mouth turning up into a smug smile.
"I'm not doing anything. I'm just tired, can't I rest for a while?" Lu Xiaoyu declared with utter self-righteousness.
However, Liu Ergou didn't believe her. He furrowed his brow and urged, "I told you to stop messing around! I have plans later. I need to go out with a friend, and time is tight. I'll leave as soon as I'm done making this mung bean soup for you, so hurry up!"
But even with Liu Ergou's words, Lu Xiaoyu remained unmoved. She even went so far as to lie down on his chest.
Even the usually composed Liu Ergou couldn't help but react slightly.
Taking a deep breath, he tried to feign calmness as he said, "I'm telling you one last time, get up. If you don't, then don't blame me for getting rough!"
The threat of him getting rough immediately energized Lu Xiaoyu.
"Rough? I'd love to see just how rough you can be!"
