Without realizing it, they arrived at a small corner store.
Two young women in short skirts were holding ice cream cones, not yet having taken a bite.
Dabao and Sibao immediately rushed over, their eyes glued to the ice cream cones.
"Miss! Miss!"
The two young women had never seen such adorable children before. They squatted down and asked, "What can we do for you, little ones?"
Dabao was very direct. "What's that? Is it yummy?"
Sibao tilted his head, trying to look as cute as possible. "Can we have a taste? Just a little lick..." He even made a tiny gesture with his fingers to emphasize his point. "Really, just a tiny bit."
The two young women were completely overwhelmed by their cuteness, though what little rationality they had left told them otherwise. "Sorry, you're too little. You can't eat anything so cold."
Dabao's little face fell instantly. Tilting his head again, Sibao asked pitifully, "Not even a tiny bit?"
