Erbao stood on the podium, her smile confident and powerful. She seemed to possess an inherent charm that drew people in, making them want to be her friend. The teacher smiled slightly, praised Erbao's foreign language skills, and then asked her to take her seat.
Erbao had bought their textbooks when she arrived, and after looking them over, she felt the material wasn't too difficult. After class, some classmates approached her to make friends and invited her to watch a basketball game. Being rather tomboyish, Erbao didn't actually enjoy hanging out with clingy girls and preferred the company of boys.
Upon arriving at the spacious gym, she saw some boys playing basketball. The girls around her were shouting a name—Jim—and Erbao followed their gazes. She saw the most striking-looking guy among them looking in their direction. When his eyes met Erbao's, he was taken aback.
Erbao nodded politely. "You guys watch. I'm going to take a walk around campus."
