"I'm really not," Lake said calmly, not wanting Davian to get more worked up than he already was. He was still uncomfortably warm however, so even as he spoke, his fingers got busy taking off the soaked shirt he still had on.
Davian swiftly came over to help, his brows furrowed. "I'm calling Doctor Perez."
Lake just shimmied out of his pajama bottoms, his hair sticking to his face. "Yeah, sure, do that," He mumbled absently, already making his way to the shower.
Davian only left the bathroom to retrieve his phone and then he returned, ringing up the physician while pacing the length of the bathroom, his gaze frequently drifting to the shower which was still running.
When Lake stepped out of the bathroom, his face was flushed, but he smiled easily, bundled up in a towel. "I feel so much more better."
Davian frowned, approaching him. "You showered in cold water?"
Lake just walked past him, "I'll put on a sweater," He promised, going to get dressed up.
