"Caspian is coming over," Jael informed the other two Mafia Kings.
The door to the club opened then, Asher's features mostly hidden by blood now. "Caspian?" He repeated, frowning - the first proper expression on his face in a while.
Jael held his breath, waiting to see how Asher would take it. For a moment, when he said Caspian's name, he looked and sounded like himself again.
"Where is…" Asher trailed off, still frowning. "...the next club?" He asked instead, focus coming back into his eyes.
Jael couldn't say if he was relieved or not by that reaction. While there was a chance that Caspian could snap Asher out of what was wrong with him, there was a far higher chance that Caspian would be put in danger instead - he really wanted to avoid that.
"I'll drive you there." He offered again.
