Chapter 16 - HONEYMOON PART II

BELLA POV

"So," he murmured, his fingers tracing idle patterns on my skin. "Where should my mouth go next, my love?"

I smiled, then heard a small noise escape his stomach.

"To the food next, okay?" I laughed a little then used my full strength to get up.

"No, no, don't leave. I'm not hungry, I swear," he pouted,His so cute when he does that.

I quickly showered, then headed downstairs. To my surprise, the dinner table was filled with delicious foods. I had thought I'd be the one cooking something for us. Just as I turned, Ace entered the dining room, looking sharp in the outfit he wore. He must have used the other bathroom.

"Wow, Ace, when did you have time to get all this done?" I asked, eyes wide.

He smiled. "I'm a man of many talents, you see."

Just as he was about to say more, a middle-aged lady walked in, set down a glass of orange juice, greeted me warmly, then turned to Ace.

"Sir, now that I'm done making breakfast, I'll go clean the house."

I couldn't hold my laughter. I burst out, loud and unfiltered. Ace looked away from me, clearly caught.

"Fine, fine. Now stop laughing."

Did I stop laughing? Absolutely not. But after two minutes, I did, and sat down to have our breakfast. Sweetly, he had waited for me so we could eat together. While we ate, he told me we'd be touring the island after breakfast.

Afterward, I went upstairs to change into something comfortable for the tour. I chose a breezy linen romper with strappy sandals, a straw hat, and oversized sunglasses — the perfect island look. While Ace was still dressing, I turned on my phone, which had been off since I arrived. I wanted no distractions, and I was right. Immediately, my phone buzzed with messages and group chat calls from my girls.

Over 1,010 messages.

Chaos mode: activated.

Stella: "Okay, babe, it's almost go-time. Are you mentally prepared to be ruined in the best way possible?"

Riley: "Did you shave everything? I mean everything — don't leave a rogue patch, it's your honeymoon!"

Stella: "Did you pack the red lace set or the black silk one? Or are you going in with nothing but confidence?"

Riley: "Is he the type to light candles or rip the dress off with his teeth? We need forecasts."

Stella: "Did you do the stretch I showed you? The one that makes your hips say 'I'm ready for impact'?"

Riley: "Are you planning to whisper sweet nothings or scream like you're in a thriller?"

Stella: "Girl, blink twice if you're about to make the headboard your new best friend."

Riley: "Also, did you bring the whipped cream? Asking for science."

I laughed, cheeks flushed, heart racing. My friends were wild. I was absolutely ready to tell them all about it — because in our group chat, we spill details. Not all of them, just enough.

It reminded me of when Riley was about to do it for the first time with her Boo Bear. That night was no different. The messages were legendary:

Stella: "Okay, babe, tonight's the night. Are you ready to be worshipped like the goddess you are?"

Bella: "Did you do the exfoliating scrub I told you about? You need to be smoother than a silk pillowcase."

Stella: "Is the lingerie red, black, or 'oops I forgot to wear any'?"

Bella: "Did you stretch? Hydrate? Mentally rehearse your moans?"

Stella: "Is your man the gentle type or the 'I've waited too long for this' type?"

Bella: "Did you pack the emergency lip gloss and the 'just in case' satin robe?"

Stella: "Girl, blink twice if you're about to make the neighbors file a noise complaint."

Bella: "Also, did you shave the back of your knees? Don't ask why. Just trust me."

Riley had told us that when she saw those messages, she laughed so hard she nearly ruined her eyeliner. Her girls were chaotic, supportive, and absolutely unhinged — just the way she liked it.

The morning after? Riley dropped into the chat with a voice note and a dramatic sigh.

Riley: "Ladies… my Boo Bear devoured me. I'm walking like I did squats with a vengeance."

Stella: "YESSS! Was it soft and sweet or 'I've waited my whole life for this'?"

Bella: "Did he whisper your name or growl it like a man possessed?"

Riley: "All of the above. I saw stars. I spoke French. I might've cried."

Stella: "We need details. Positions. Sounds. Scandal."

Bella: "Did you do the whipped cream thing or was that saved for round two? I need details too. You know I've not done it yet, so more details, please."

Riley: "I did everything. Send ice packs and holy water."

So really, it wasn't different from the messages I received. I had to tell them about my night too — but not now. Ace was already coming down the stairs. I just dropped a message saying I'd call them when I got back from the tour and give them all the juicy details.

Ace looked at me and smiled. "You look so beautiful in that outfit. I can't wait for us to get back from the tour."

I blushed. "Let's go."
