[scene : Colt and Luna are with the Starleas in a carriage everyone is back to their usual forms. Luna's in elf form, Colt is facing Luna, Luc sits next to Colt, facing Lea. Colt is looking through the window]
We left Gordon in charge of the medicine in the slums.
[flash back]
[scene : The man hugging his son while crying back in the slums]
After curing his son Gordon…
[scene: Gordon going on one knee in front of Helix]
Basically pledged his loyalty.
[scene : Gordon in a stall handing doses of medicine to everyone he sees.]
Guess he wasn't as far gone as I thought.
[scene : Helix walking everywhere going into random houses]
I made sure there weren't any hotspots left.
[scene : Helix waking Julius then leaving the room while Anya hugs her dad]
Then I, unfortunately, had to wake up Mr. jerk face and his wife.
[scene : In Anya's room, a big chest lies under her bed, the view shifts inside it to show a boatload of medicine in petri dishes]
It'll be difficult for it to appear again and even if it did. We're ready.
[Back to the carriage]
Now, Helix can finally rest. Unless there's another outbreak, I doubt we'll need him again.
Luna : "Colt."
Colt : "Yes dear."
Luna : "Why are we traveling in a carriage when we could use "gate"? it's – what did you call it?- inefficient."
*Colt stares at Luna for a few seconds*
Luna : "What?"
Colt : "Adorable... say it again."
Luna [slowly blushing] : "It's... inefficient"
*Colt's heart skips a beat*
Colt : "MMM… I would've used a gate right now if I wasn't waiting for something to happen."
Luna [blushing subsides] : "What thing?"
Colt : "It's more like a possibility. If it happens then I might get some intel if it doesn't, this carriage ride was an unnecessary danger and a waste of time."
Luc : "Danger?"
Colt [as he looks at him with surprise] : "How many carriage accidents happen on the road?"
Lea : "What are you waiting for exactly?"
*Before Colt can answer, the carriage suddenly stops*
Luc : "What happened?"
*They hear a voice from the outside*
The voice : "KILL EVERYONE BUT THE HEALER."
Colt : "OH. MY. GOD."
*Colt uses search, the view shifts to the radar screen view to show a few dots moving towards the carriage*

A new more upgraded version of static with something else at the center but me. Combined with search magic it's quite effective.
Colt : "Their entire group doesn't share two braincells. Bunch of clowns."
*Shifts to Helix form without using a voice modulation spell*
Luc : "Why did you?"
Colt : "Because, believe it or not, I intend to keep some of them alive."
*Colt calmly steps out of the carriage, looks at the coachman*
Colt : "Go inside, cover your eyes and ears."
*The coachman, who's still shaken by the bandits being frozen, complies in fear while shaking in his boots*
*Colt shifts the spell to float to gather the bandits from around the carriage and the few that were in the forest, he lines them up in front of him as they squirm and scream, shifts the spell back to static*
Colt : "One, two... seventeen. Seventeen idiots is a lot more that I can handle."
*Colt takes another look at the bandits*
Colt [as he moves to look closely at one of the bandits with a scarred face] : "You seem to be their leader."
Colt [as he steps back] : "And these six meat bags around you seem to be the most capable among your men."

*One of the six is literally crushed into a bloody pulp*
Colt : "Oopsie, now there are only five."
*Colt touches the 16 remaining bandits*
Colt [as he goes back to his position] : "Your limbs are now useless so I'll undo the spell and keep you hanging in the air."
*Colt stops static and shifts to float instead.*
The leader : "What the hell are you? They never told us we'll be facing a monster like you."
Colt : "Yup, you're an idiot. Well, I would've gotten this information sooner or later. So, who the hell sent you?"
*He doesn't respond.*
*Another one is crushed into a pulp*
Colt : "I'll keep doing that, you know. Trust me, I'm enjoying this."
*Luna's voice echoes through his head*
Luna : "You're you, the one I love. Ruthless yet kind, merciless yet gentle, calculating but also impulsive. I wouldn't want someone else. I love you for you. So just be you."
The bandit leader : "You can kill them for all I care, I'm not telling you nothing. You can't kill me."
Colt : "True."
*As the leader smirks.*
Colt [dark grin] : "I can make you wish you were dead."
*Colt grabs the bandit's immobile arm.*
I only disabled his motor nerves, but he'll still feel that.
Reduce calcium density in this part of bone.
*Colt crushes the man's bone.*
*The leader screams in agony.*
*After a while of sounds of bone crushing and screams*
[scene : Colt standing in front of the man while making the rest of the gang watch, the man's limbs are destroyed, yet he's still alive]
Colt : "Ready to speak now?"
The leader : "HA... HAAAAH, there's nothing left for you to do."
Colt : "You moron, didn't you come here for a legendary healer?"
*Colt completely heals the man.*
*The leader looks at his healed limbs in horror*
Colt : "Shall we start over then?"
*As he grabs the man's arm*
The leader [in a broken tone] : "I'll tell you everything."
The leader : "It was Blackwood. He said there would be a healer on the carriage that carries the Starlea emblem. He said he only wanted the healer."
Colt : "How much did he pay you?"
The leader : "A large gold coin."
*Colt starts shaking with laughter*
Colt : "pfft, pfft... pft."
Colt : "Is there any written contract or correspondence?"
The leader : "We burned all of it."
*Colt grabs his arm.*
The leader : "I swear it's the truth. Spare me!!"
Colt: "Wait here for a while."
*The Bandits drop to the ground unable to move.*
*Colt heads back to the carriage, the coachman comes out.*
Colt [to Luna] : "Did he see?"
Luna : "His eyes were closed the entire time. I think he thought you'd kill him as well."
Colt : "I wouldn't go that far! Maybe the tongue-"
Luna : "Colt, no!"
Colt[laughing] : "Ok ok. Do I have some gossip for you."
Luna : "Knowing you, you wouldn't even bother questioning them. Was this what you were waiting for?"
Colt : "Yup, so, question for the three of you: what was weird about this attack?"
Luc : "Bandit attacks happen a lot sadly, especially for a lone carriage such as ours."
Lea : "No brother, they said kill everyone but the healer."
Luc : "How could they know there was a healer?"
Luna : "Someone sent them obviously, the question is who? Is it really him?"
Colt : "You heard everything already?"
Luc : "We didn't hear a thing."
Luna : "We have a better sense of hearing than humans."
Colt : "Robert Blackwood himself, what an honor. He must really want that healing, huh?"
*Luna slightly blushes and looks out the window while Colt bursts into laughter*
Luc : "What are you saying? There's no way a noble would stoop so low as to use bandits. Even if it's Robert."
Colt : "First of all, nobles use bandits. especially corrupt ones. Simple facts. I saw this coming and I dealt with it. Too bad it was just Robert."
Lea : "What do you mean?"
Colt : "I wanted to expose to our dear old naïve Luc here some corrupt nobles in the hopes that he'll be able to take them down one day."
Luc : "Even so, why would nobles pursue you?"
Colt : "Helix is the one who managed to stop a freakin' plague in its tracks when no other healer could. Heck, you might be pursued, after all, you're the one who managed to find him when he slipped past more influential nobles. Not to mention he won't be found again."
Luc : "Even so, Robert is now the son of a duke. Why would he resort to such tactics?"
*Colt's just shaking with silent laughter*
Luc : "Though he has been acting weird lately : distancing himself from everyone even his fiancée. It's so obvious that's it's always a topic in any gathering."
Colt [laughing as he holds his stomach] : "Stop AHAHA I can't. Just ahh drop it."
Colt [managing to calm down] : "It's a mystery for the ages then."
Luc : "I don't see what's so amusing?"
Colt : "Never mind me. Now, I'll hand these bandits to you, send you back to your domain by gate then back to the capital. Agreed? Just put them to good use, overwork them to death, do whatever."
[scene : Bandit after bandit exiting the Starlea mansion, all tied up and received by knights, they're on their feet, motor nerves restored]
[scene : Colt (still in Helix form), Luna (Helia form) and the Starleas in front of a big open gate, the bandit leader and his 4 men are on the ground]
Colt : "Now, you head back to the capital."
Luc : "But we haven't finished sending the bandits."
Colt : "These are mine."
Luc : "But-"
Colt : "These. Are. Mine."
Luc : "Alright."
*Luc and Lea go through the gate, the carriage follows behind, gate closes.*
Colt [as he and Luna revert back to their original forms] : "Now for your fate."
The leader : "The hell you want with us, you bastard?"
Colt : "I like this attitude, smug to the very end... weren't you begging for your life a minute ago?"
The leader : "You won't kill us, I heard you."
Colt [ignoring him] : "You see Luna, there was once a man such as myself who captured a group of bandits. All he cared about was cake, therefore, he was no killer. The bandit leader escaped, nearly killed one of his friends and kidnapped the other."
Luna : "Another one of your stories?"
Colt : "Oh yeah, so it was duly noted. If you ever decide to capture bandits alive."
Colt [as the bandits are crushed into pulps] : "Kill the smart and strong."
Luna [covering her mouth] : "This is grotesque even for you."
Colt : "But it's efficient. I can't afford to have Luc or the Starlea household lose any reputation."
Luna : "Despite being so proud of what you did to Robert, you never told Luc about it. I know you like to intimidate and mess with him. So why?"
Colt : "Luc is still a noble, nobles of this era almost always have a very strong sense of loyalty, and since he's an idealistic idiot, I can't tell him I've been killing or torturing nobles. Any show of cruelty I displayed was always against criminals. While he might not agree with it, it's not disloyal to the kingdom."
Luna : "So you keep saving people, making sure he sees you as an ally."
Colt : "Did you see how he reacted when I insulted Julius? Even though he knows he's a bastard, he won't allow *changes his voice to Luc's* "such disrespect" *Back to his own voice*. Another test to confirm my theory."
Luna : "What about Anya?"
Colt : "After what she's seen, I'd say she will do what's in her power to better the lives of people. If she manages to take over the domain early, that's great. She's a bit more reasonable than Luc and more mature now."
Colt [stretching] : "MMMHH."
Colt [as he opens a gate] : "And with that over."
Colt [princess carries Luna] : "It's time to go back to relax at home with my princess."
Luna [with a warm smile] : "You didn't call me a princess for a long time."
Colt [as he crosses the gate] : "You'll always be my princess."
[scene : Colt gates in the living room, He finds Edwin and Trea waiting]
Edwin : "Told you he's not into doors."
Trea [standing up] : "Sir Colt, we have an urgent matter to discuss."
